Link woke up early the next morning and emerged from the barn where he had spent the night. He yawned and streched a while before wandering into feild, where Malon was already feeding the horses. "Morning." Malon called dumping a bucket into a feeding bin. "Morning." Link replied helping Malon carry in the empty feeding buckets. "Are you okay from yesterday?" He asked putting down the buckets and staring at the ground as Navi buzzed around the room. "I'm not as sad, if thats what you mean." Malon sighed, "Come on Breakfast should be readdy." After a quick breakfast, Link and Malon decided to take a stroll. Then another quake hit. an extreamly violent one. "I should go to Death Mountain and check things out." Link thought out loud. "Death Mountain? Are you crazy you'll get burnt up there!" Malon protested, waiving her arms around in emphisis. "I have a gorron's tunic don't worry." Linki replied. "And what about me? I guess its okay for the GIRL to get fried isn't it?" Malon challenged crossing her arms and saring coldly at Link. "I'll buy you one at Goron City, okay?" Malon mumbled something and they continued. "Oh look a ticktee thingy!" Malon cried as they started up Death Mountain. "Its a Tektite, or a boucing spider. their most sensitive spot is their under side." Navi said matter-of-factly. Malon rolled her eyes and continued. They finaly reached Goron city after stopping several times so Malon and Navi could argue about something. The trio headed inside. "It sure is big in here." Malon comented. "It's always been like this." Link replied fiddling with his sword. "I've never been here before so I would't know." Malon stated "Come on lets go." Link followed the way into the shop and bought Malon a Goron tunic. She slipped it on over her dress while Lnk left to change into his. Then they headed into Link's (the goron) throne room. "Hi Link!" Link(Hylian) said stepping into the room. "This is Malon," He continued as Malon gave a little curtsy. "Welcome Link, Malon. What can I do for you?" Link (goron) asked. "well, we want to go into the crater and see if thers any thing unusual down there. I was wondering if we could take the shortcut through the room." Link (just guess) replied. The other Link stepped aside and gave a little bow. (Anything for the hero of the Gorons." Link and Malon then entered Death Mountain Crater. They walked a bit when Link decided to go into the Temple of Fire. He pulled out his hook shot to swing across. "Malon, we have to swing across here to get across I'm going to use the hookshot so hold onto me." She did and they both swung across with no problems. The walked down the path to the warp tile. "Hey look! I'm on the triforce!" Malon joked standing on the tile. "Thats just a warp tile dummy!" Navi shouted, going beserk. "Oh yeah, well I could pull your wings of." "No you couldn't but I could wave my arms and make you die!" "Malon, you arn't going to pull her wings off and Navi, you arn't going to kill Malon. Got it." "Guys arn't any fun." Malon and Navi said together. They started to leave when Navi jokingly shouted. "Hey Malon, BOOOOOM!" Malon was lifted of the ground and hurtled across the cavern, slamming into the side and sliding onto an edge. "What did you do?" Link asked, shocked. " I don't know" Navi replied, equally supriesed. Then Link hear a hidious noise behind him.
