Clan SILVER SNAKE

We Don't have a lot of rules at the moment, and hopefully we never will. Like Viper[cSS] said, are we gonna have a lot of rules or have fun? That is our purpose, have fun as a group, but not get too militant. It is after all, only a game.

Here are some things that could help at the moment. But really aren't mandatory:

• There really are no leaders, but you could say that Nape as of now does most of the organization stuff, and everyone else is pitching in. If things get to wild we might have to implement so kind of, maybe squad leader, but again this would be only for organization of matches and stuff. NO MEMBER HAS THE RIGHT TO ISSUE COMMANDS TO ANOTHER MEMBER , ONLY SUGGESTIONS. We are all of a free mind..

• Keep a good attitude. You can joke around, but please don't go over board. Show some sportsmanship

• Policy on Camping: First of all we call it SNIPING, and we support it as an effective combat strategy. If you are a member or want to be a member, and you don't like to camp, you do not have to do it.

• Methods of communication at the moment are ICQ, POWWOW, EMAIL. You, should get these.

• We are made up of mostly MODEM users, so if you have a faster connection method, we would gladly have you but I thought I should warn you.

• We Play Primarily Using QUAKEWORLD , although some members will go to Normal Quake for competition if the connection is decent. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE ENVIRONMENTS OF THESE TWO SYSTEMS .Qworld, makes redictions about players actions, pro=smooth movement con=maybe shooting at stuff that really isn't there .. Normal Quake or Mod quake servers, pro=what you see is what you get con=like walking on ice if you have bad connection, and not as smooth as qworld.

• We don't accept members based on playing ability. Depends on how many members we have and at the moment we haven't decided on a ceiling for this number. Attitude is important, but we won't deny you based on your freedom to be a buttmunch. NOTE: one of the reasons this clan was formed was because the founders were tired of seeing clan app, after clan app, of ie. "you must be an expert, you better be good, you must be God," etc...

• We are currently PENDING membership to several Clan Rings and Clan lists.

• SKINS: feel free to make your own, use the ones available, or whatever,, BUT I REALLY THINK IT WOULD BE BETTER IF YOU HAVE THE SILVER SNAKE LOGO ON THAT SKIN SOMWHERE, LIKE THE EXISTING SKINS.

• NICK: same with NICKS, you DONT HAVE TO put [cSS] at the end of your Nick, but it would really , really ,really be better if you did; it helps represent the clan, and makes it easier for us to spot your name, and find you on servers.

• Members can feel free to go off on there own battles, But it would be nice if you represent the Clan in some way, at least by keeping the Clan designator in your nick. THIS CLAN SUPPORTS THE CLAN RING FIELD OF BATTLE. OR FOB. , this is a ranking system that you can join, as an individual , or as a Clan. Clan SILVER SNAKE is already registered here, so all you would need to do is register as solo, and only if you want to play alone. If you only want to play here as part of CLAN SILVER SNAKE, then there is no need to register.

• Challenges: Go ahead and challenge all the individuals you want, but as far as Clan challenges, at the moment , since Nape is doing the organazation stuff, you should confirm this through him. mdnape@oocities.com . NOTE: clan members feel free to go off and fight as your own team. You don't have to confirm this with anyone.ie, if three members want to get together by themselves and go off and fight, then go for it. YOU SHOULD SEND IN The results so we can post them on the Page. FOB < is the only place you should not fight as team: clan SILVER SNAKE because that is registered and Nape is listed as Team Cpt. YOU can ask, and he will most likely let you, cause remember on the FOB, it is a ranking system, and if you lose, it lowers the Clans ranking..
