This award is bestowed on pages that display excellence in creativity, graphics and content. Only personal and non-profitable sites may apply for this award. Feel free to nominate sites that you think deserve this award. The criteria's and rules which will be taken into consideration upon judging of a page will be as follows:

Criteria's

Time taken for main page to load. It must be below 1 minute on a 36kbs modem no matter how attractive the page may look.

The site must have content besides links for links are but windows to the work of others and not you.

Site must be genuine, user friendly and beautifully created. On top of that, contents must be well organized and easy to navigate.

Site must only contain self-created graphics and nothing else. However, excessive graphics may prove to be a letdown. Graphics must coincide with the theme of the site.

Background music is alright. Do make sure that it goes with the page 'atmosphere'.

Site does not contain excessive Java scripts, applets and animated graphics.

If possible, avoid using pop-up windows, alert boxes, blinking or scrolling text and other add-ons that only serve to irritate the viewer.

Sites in Geocities must install a GeoGuide on your page to stop the pop-ups.

There must not be any 'Under Construction' signs in your site. No need to tell the whole world that your site is incomplete. A good site is never under constriction, only updated.

Site does not contain pornography or adult-oriented content as well as provoking images. Misuse of language is also prohibited. In short, suitable for all ages.

There should be no broken links, script errors or missing pictures.

No spelling or grammatical mistakes. Use good English. Only English sites may apply for this award.

Site must be of use to the Internet community and worth returning to.

Correct use of HTML.

There should be no 'Best viewed with' or 'Get Plug-ins'.

Rules

Winners who receive this award must e-mail me with a note of acknowledgement. Only then will your site be added to the winner's list.

All sites will be reviewed. However not all will be awarded. This award will only be presented to sites which truly deserves it. Only winners of this award will be notified via e-mail.

Awards must be linked back to this page.

Decision is final. If you don't win, you may always try again.
