WELCOME TO PHILIP'S LICKER PAGE

You're walking silently down a corridor. All is quiet. Not a sound can be heard. You are bathed in darkness. Your fear is sending chilling waves throughout your body. Now the only noise you can hear, and feel, is the steady beating of your heart. But as the moment drifts on, you feel it slowly beating harder... faster... until it has moved to a steady thump thump thump sound. Where are you? And why are you here? You don't know. But that doesn't matter, because somewhere, in the darkness and over the beating of your heart, you think you hear something... a hissing noise. Is it real, or just your imagination? Who knows... and who cares. For now you are hearing the slow, deep exhaltation of the Licker... and the sound of its nails clicking on the hard floor...

I LOVE LICKERS! And for whatever reason, I don't know. Maybe its the early warning signs that alert the victom of its approch: the deep, loud hissing noise and the click of its nails on the floor... or maybe it's the snake-like way he chases after you when you run away. Whatever it is that brightens that hard-to-touch part of my soul, its good. Because Lickers rule. I have no doubt in my mind that this is the first page to ever pay homeage to the great Licker... So feel free to explore.

What is a Licker? For people who have played Resident Evil 2 and gotten decently far (getting to the first Licker doesn't take much effort, kids) you already know the answer to the question. For those of you who haven't, I guess I'll have to explain. A "Licker" is the term given to a nasty monster, with misses patches of skin, who can climb walls and has a tounge that can cut you in half. Pictured at the top of the page is the almighty Licker. And for those of you who are wondering why I should dedicate this page to such a disgusting, vile monster, keep wondering...

As more thoughts progess into my head, I will add more to this humble page.

LICKER SMASHING TIPS If you are Claire, the best weapon to use against the vile Licker is the bow gun. This weapon has a tendency to run out of ammo very quickly (it fires 3 shots per use) but when you're going toe-to-toe with a Licker, it is a good choice. Two shots from the bow gun will put a licker out of commision.
