BACKGROUND: These pirate sharks are Jonathan Jones' crew. He has divided the crew into two teams, one of which wears blue and one of which wears red. The blue team is made up of the toughest and most trustworthy pirates: they are Jonathan's elite bodyguards.
Even though they are stronger than their red counterparts, Bandana Blues are actually not too dangerous. In large numbers they can be a threat, but a one-on-one fight with a Bandana Blue isn't that difficult. An experienced fighter could beat them easily.
QUOTES:
"Johnny's our main man. he even fights in his sleep! We'd follow him anywhere."
- SMRPG
"Hop on the trampoline in the next room. It'll take ya outside. Go on, now. Give it a try!" - SMRPG
"Johnny, maybe we should leave Mario the pleasure of wrapping things up here." - SMRPG
"Color me Blue, mates!!" - SMRPG (hidden quote)
BATTLE PLAN:
Attack Pattern: You will run into these pirates during your fight with Jonathan Jones. They mostly use regular attacks, but they also have a more powerful attack called Pierce.
Basic Fighting Strategies: Just about any attack will work fine. Fire and Thunder attacks are particularly good, but you may not to waste FP. Mallow's Thunderbolt is a great choice.
Advanced Strategies: Use Thunderbolt or regular timed-hits to take these guys down. When they attack, these guys will thrust their spears at you twice. Try to press A at the end of the second thrust to block. You should be able to block the Pierce attack this way too.
