The affair left both Marlena and John scared, lonely and feeling guilty. They wanted so much to stop loving each other. He begged her not to love him, knowing that her love for him can destroy her. She wanted him to go on with his life and forget about her and their love. But they both couldn't stay away... Their love was too strong.
