- Jason Ang
- Wall Street mogul, financial wizard, and man of unshakeable faith, "Jay," along with his lovely wife Nancy, live in Queens, New York City, and often play host to the loud and unruly band of misfits who bring life to the characters of the Empire Club. Jay and Nancy's generosity is heralded throughout the five boroughs. When they're not communicating with each other on their palm pilots, they're communicating with a higher power in moments of quiet reflection. Jay's enthusiasm is the spark that ignites the fires of our roleplaying sessions. Nancy's undying patience makes it all possible. (Be sure to visit the Ang website and commend Nancy on the great work she did on it!)
Jay's characters include:
- Jonathan Bensley
- In a small town in North Jersey, All-American everyman hero Jon Bensley grew up in the shadow of New York City's skyscrapers. It was there that his imagination took flight, and it hasn't lost any altitude since. Sony Megacorp strongman by day, if he's not GMing by nightfall, he's playing the barrel-chested, lantern-jawed hero archetype that every story needs. If you're "having trouble visualizing" something, chances are Jon's got an illustration to show you, or a cinematic reference to use as a touchstone. "D'ja ever see that movie...oh...what's that actor's name...?"
Jon's characters include:
- George Duffy
- The newest addition to the Empire Club, George is the infamous "Cable Guy," keeping an eye over Manhattan from dizzying rooftops in his CableGuy suit and a toolbelt containing more gadgets than Batman's. A veteran WarHammerer, no RP combat is too sticky for this Bronx Bomber.
George's characters include:
- Michelle Malloy-MacIntyre
- As her roommate Dean is quick to point out, this classy young lady is armed with an Ivy League degree on each hip. If there's something to know, chances are Michelle knows it. She can quote a passage from "Much Ado About Nothing" or from "The Dark Knight Returns" with equal ease and accuracy. No iota of knowledge is too obscure when the "flea market is open." She is the Jane Goodall among us apes, and without her, we're convinced we'd all be drooling in a corner somewhere.
Michelle's characters include:
- Rob Petrone
- By night, he's saving the world from evil, conquering villains in a roleplaying setting. By day, he's saving the world from evil, conquering villains in a courtroom. This two-fisted New York City DA will stop at nothing to see that justice is done, both in the real world and in the roleplaying world. A true Philadelphia lawyer, Rob can often be found in the East Village, in the lotus position, with Sting, Madonna, Willem, and the rest of the crew at the Jivamukti Yoga Center. Where does he find the time to maintain this site? He has no t.v.!
Rob's characters include:
- John Sloan
- Gentleman may prefer blondes, but blondes, brunettes, and redheads prefer this gentleman. His extensive experience as a dancer and actor brings a flavor to our roleplaying games, and brings life to any character John picks up as a player or as a GM. When he's not out-of-state (or out-of-country) performing, he's bringing us closer to enlightenment with his famous invention, the "Dr. McGregor Philos-omatic." As Confusius (or maybe a close cousin of his) once said, "The wily dog pounces on the crimson swan." You get it, right?
John's characters include:
