Well, I guess it's about time I introduced myself to the general public. So, here goes...

Born in Madrid (Spain) 32 years ago (gasp - my little sister is 30 years old!), I've been forced and lucky to travel a lot around the world (London, NY, Washington, Kuwait, Holland, Mexico, Rome, etc...). Forced, because as a diplomat's son, when you're 5 you're not given much of a choice. Lucky, cos I've met lots of people from different cultures and backgrounds.

I studied Mechanical Engineering at Clarkson University in upstate New York, one of the coldest places on the planet. Believe me, when the forecast says -40 F with the wind chill, it's cold! One of the wierdest sensations is having your nostrils freeze close. I was about to pursue a masters in Aeronautical Eng. in Colorado (more snow) when good old Boeing hired me (Seattle - even more snow!).

Right now, I'm the webmaster for a major spanish newspaper called El País, which is doing pretty well. We're getting close to two million hits a day. Obviously, after the amount of money the owners of the company have poured into the project (14 people working full time), they expect me to dedicate an awful amount of my time to it (the bastards!)

Which takes away from my hobbies .... video gaming, playing the guitar in a blues band and writing stories. Partying and chasin' the ladies are a given and not even mentioned:-) Aaaaand, a little sports here and there doesn't hurt. Aaaarg, I don't have enough time, I need to be a millionare.

Working in a newspaper gives me access to a load of documentation. You should check out our doc. center!
