"Crono. Crono." a soft voice calls." CRONO WAKE UP!!!" Crono wakes with a start and falls out

of bead head first. "Mom, why did you have to do that to me"? His mother gave him a stern look

that could melt steel "becuse it was the the only way to get you up". "And don't you remember that

Lucca invited you and Marle to see her new invention"? Crono slapped his head " oh yeah I forgot.

It is probily something to scare mice away, at lest you don't act like her mom". crono's mother

giggled at that remark "hey that is because we have a cat, if we didn't have him I would be actting

like her". she saw an evil grin apeared on Crono's face."Now don't get any ideas or you'll be

reallying on them as food for the next month"! yelled his embarrased mother. Crono started to leave

and said something about keeping it in mind.

    when he go to the castle Marle was not a very happy princess. "What were you doing for two

hours"!! yelled an enrageed princess who took a swip at Crono who casulaly dodged it." Chill out

Marle I stoped to get some thing to eat and lost the time" crono said with a michavous smile on his

face. Marle shruging her shoulders muttered some thing about not wanting to hear about what he

really did.

    When they got to Lucca's house they say a brite light flash from behing the house. They ran to it

thinking that Lucca was in trouble Crono unsethed his katana and Marle wipped out her bow. When

they got there they were surprised at what they saw. Crono got his voice back and decided to say

something "how is Epoch back to normal?" ask a bewildered Crono.( for all those non-RPG fans

Epoch was thier time machine which was thouht to have been destroyed when it went through

Lavos.) Lucca lifted her head to them who still have thier weapon drawn." And what are you

thinking about doing with those (she points at their weapons)?" Marle then gets out of her

shock"going to put you in a room full of frogs if you ever scare us like that agian. Lucca look at both

of them and a trys to say something but only can say "no...... you........... wouldn't." then she saw

Crono and marle both look at each other an nod in with a grin that freaked her out . Crono takes a

look inside. " what are you doing to it?" Lucca saw what he was looking at. "that." she said with the

faint sound of her ego inflating "is an upgrade that will allow us not only the abillity to travel through

time but also to be able to go to other planets." she said with pried of her work. Marle turned to

Lucca "isn't it dangerous to do that?" Lucca disregared the question "it is perfectly safe." then started

to walk toward epoch "do you want to visit Melechior?" Crono and Marle both said yes and got

into Epoch. Then in a few moments Epoch took off into the air. Crono was so busy looking at the

sights he didn't pay atention to his sword which hit a part of the controls. they started to lose control.

Then before they crashed itto a mountain the time controls kick causing epoch and its passengers to

disapear.
