I started playing Starcontroll II and didn't stop until
I passed out from fatigue and malnutrition. The best
way I can describe the game is like this. When you're a
little kid, and a parent sits down with you to read you
a bedtime story, you don't want them to stop. Well
that's the emotion I felt towards this game 20 fold. The
dialog used when the Yehat are reunited with their
shofixi kids still brings a tear to my eye. All the
races have an interesting personality that makes you
think, laugh, wonder, or scream. Never could get enough
credits together to find out why that bridge turns
purple. If they ran Starcontrol II up against games of
today, Starcontrol II would get my vote no questions
asked. The sound quality from Star 1 took a massive
leap from cute to (drool from the mouth in awe of its
miraculous artiste). Just take the UrQuan for example it
went from "dink" to "launch fighters" in a deep almost
scary aspect. If there is one person that doesn't like
starcontrol II, eat me.
