Star Control 2 is one of the most amazing games I have
ever played. The story is a saga of intergalactic
scale. I finished the game at about 12:30 on a Saturday
Night, and it took me three more hours to fall asleep.
The plot developments are amazing, and the characters -
especially the Pkunk - are hilariously funny. The game
is also spooky. The sequence in which the Lander
discovers the destroyed Androsynth home world was vivid
and freaky even in text form. Even the two dimentional
graphics are terrific, and the playability of the game
is phenomenal. I seriously think that Starcon2 is the
best computer game on the market, with plots, story and
graphics all combined to create an almost cinematic
experience.
