Secret
Characters
Note: Before I begin, let me clarify
something. Many FAQs have written that you have to wait for 5
seconds and hold onto a direction to get a secret character.
I have found out that you can obtain
the secret characters without holding onto any directions and
also, you have to wait for more than 5 seconds, depending on each
character.
Shadow (also known as Shadow
Charlie)
Codes:
Hold Start, Go To Dhalsim, Wait For 20 Seconds, Press 1+3
Hold Start, Go To Dhalsim, Hold Up, Wait For 10 Seconds, Press
1+3
Shadow Charlie is known as "Shadow" because he IS a
shadow. You get an outline of the shadow of Charlie and he looks
kind of cool. The only trouble with him is the slower initiation
for all his Super Combos. The screen will pause for a while and
you can get a glimpse of Shadow Charlie's glasses twinkling
before each Super Combo is executed.

Mega Zangief
Codes:
Hold Start, Go To Blackheart, Wait For 20 Seconds, Press 1+3
Hold Start, Go To Blackheart, Hold Left, Wait For 10 Seconds,
Press 1+3
I really don't know how to describe Mega Zangief. His colours
don't match and he looks as though he's drunk or something.
However, one thing's for sure... he's more powerful than ever
before. Firstly, he has a Mega Armour which is even better then
Hulk's. Also, beware of his Final Atomic Buster and Siberian
Blizzard Attack! They can interrupt his opponent's Super Combos!
There is, however, one set back to all his new powers... Mega
Zangief cannot block!!!

Evil Sakura

This is a darker version of Sakura. Not much of a difference
except that she has Akuma's Raging Demon & Teleport!

A much greyer version of Captain America. U.S. Agent can
cause more damage and he's also faster than Captain America. U.S.
Agent can also execute larger and longer combos.

Spiderman in Spider Armour
Codes:
Hold Start, Go To Ryu, Wait For 5 Seconds, Hold Down (You're
on Spiderman now), Wait For 5 Seconds, Press 1+3
Hold Start, Go To Spiderman, Wait For 20 Seconds, Press 1+3
A black & white version of Spiderman. Spiderman in Spider
Armour can take less damage and can also withstand some light
& medium punches from his opponents. Unfortunately, his Super
Combos also deal very little damage.

Computer
"Hidden Characters" Opponents
The computer can also dish out hidden characters
as your opponents. However, this is only available on the
Japanese versions.
In order to play with the hidden characters at
the sixth stage, the following conditions have to be met:
No Continues
Your Partner Cannot Be Defeated
Dependent On The Number Of Variable Combo Finishes
and Super Combo Finishes after the first five stages have
passed.
The teams that will appear are:
5 VCF 0 SCF -> Evil Sakura/Akuma
2 VCF 3 SCF -> Mega Zangief/M.Bison
3 VCF 2 SCF -> Mega Zangief/M.Bison
6 VCF 0 SCF -> Shadow Charlie/M.Bison (1 VCF comes
from a vs. human game)
Do Not Rest
In Peace!
If you wish to continue beating up your opponent after you
have won the game, press "Start" and you can use super
moves or execute air combos to add the icing to your victory!
Random select
Hold the Start Button and Press Start whenever you're ready.
