The Witches Lair is bigger then any other world in Banjo-Kazooie. Just like the rest of them, it contains 10 Puzzle Pieces. In order to be able to progress through to World 2, you have to meet a couple conditions. You have to get 2 Puzzle Pieces, and 50 Gold Notes. You see, red Note Doors block your path in the lair, and if your total world Note score exceeds the number on a door, you can open it. There are 100 Gold Notes in each of the 9 Worlds. And so on. Something that Peach's Castle could've used in Super Mario 64 was monsters, puzzles and obstacles. Fortunetly, the Witches Lair in Banjo-Kazooie is chock full of 'em. Since the Witches Lair is so huge, Rare decided to make warps. If you wake up two couldrons of the same color, you can warp between them. there is red, purpl and blue couldrons. Very good design, I think.Ugh! Better run, bear boy!
