
Banjo-Pidgey

Chapter 1: A New friend
"Kazooie, don't go! I didn't mean to serve you that rubber steak!" Banjo
said. But Kazooie had already packed her bags and left Banjo' house. "Now
what'll I do? I have no partner now." Just then, Gruntilda sped by on her
broomstick, nearly hitting Banjo. Without saying a word, Gruntilda unleashed
a homing spell on Banjo, who couldn't avoid it without Kazooie. WHAM! The
spell knocked Banjo unconscious. Banjo awoke to see a bird, a little brown
bird standing over him. "Pidgey..." It asked in the most curious tone. "Huh?
Who are you?" Banjo asked. "Pidgey!" it said. Banjo walked back to his house
with Pidgey on his shoulder. Bottles popped out of his mole hill as they
walked toward it. "Banjo, am I glad to see you! Gruntilda's got Tooty
again!" He cried. "Pidgey?" asked Pidgey. "Oh, Banjo, looks like I should
train your new partner." Bottles told him.Chapter 2: Partner in Training
"Flap, Pidgey, flap!" "Pidgeyyyyy!" Pidgey squawked before he and Banjo
fell down to the ground. "This guy's too small, Banjo." Bottles told him
"There is no way that guy can carry you places!" Suddenly, a little
grasshopper hopped along the ground near Pidgey. "Pidgey!" Pidgey yelled and
stuck his legs out of the backpack and chased after the grasshopper. Bottles
smiled. "Hey, Banjo. This guy may be getting the hang of it!" But Pidgey was
too small for his head and legs to both stick out of the backpack at the
same time. Pidgey steered himself smack into a wall.
"Or not." Bottles mumbled.
