These rules are for all you GMs out there with a few players that can sometimes get on your nerves. If you've ever had a player who was uncontrollable and just wanted to kill everyone...keep this in mind. Characters get Good Karma as "experience" in doing runs. Bad Karma is exactly the same, yet they get awarded this type of "experience." This type of Karma can be spent exactly like Good Karma, except that it's for the GM to use. Re-rolling tests, buying successes, and increasing attributes of NPC's are some examples of uses. Basically, you can call it bad luck. After a while of using this, some of those uncontrollable characters may get it together.
Here is a list of a few things that players can do to earn Bad Karma.
Killing an innocent person: 3
Killing an opponent while opponent is defenseless: 2
Engaging in torture, regardless of the reason: 2
Attacking someone without provocation where self-defense isn't an issue: 1
Derailing the plot by the needless use of violence: 1
These rules are open to change, and any suggestions are welcome.
