Information On Campaign
- Year: 2060
- Books: ShadowRun III, Rigger II, Grimiore, Street Samari
Catalog, Virtual Realities, NERPS
- Location: Seattle, but be prepared to globe-hop
from time to time
- Races: Human, Ork, Elf, Troll, Dwarf, Halfling,
Minotaur, Vampire
- Charater Creation: Use 100 Build Points, or SRIII Character
Generation Rules
- Other:
- Skills - As you may already know, the rules on skills went
through a major overhaul in SRIII, but they tend to work better.
So I will be using the SRIII rules on skills. If you do not have
SRIII I sugest you get it, but I can help you out if you are
having trouble. Just EMail me and we can meet in my chat-room
when we both have a little free time.
- Contacts - You may start out with four free level 1 contacts,
or you can have 2 level 2 contacts (buddies), or 1 level 3
contact (followers), 1 gang and one level 1 contact, or 1 level 2
contact and 2 level 1 contacts.
- Starting Nuyen - Roll 3d6× ¥1,000 + 10% of the remaining
money from the character creation.
- N.I.B.(Not In Book) - You may create weapons, or use
weapons that someone else created, as long as all GMs okay the
weapon(s), or whatever you created. If one GM does not want
the item in the campaign, then it will not be in it. Items
that I have created, or have been submitted to me and posted
on the page may be used in the campaign, unless they have two
marks by the name like this (**). If those marks are by the
name, then it cannot be used in the campaign.
- Newspaper - If you join this campaign, then you will receive
a weekly E-Mail "newspaper" that will have information about what
is going on in Seattle and the world. In general, if your
character appears in the paper, then that will usually be bad,
unless you are being commemorated for something (hopefully not
your death). You may also find important clues for upcomming
runs, or subplots that may be developing.
- Karma - Karma will be earned, there will be very little given
to you if you do not show good role-playing skills. You may earn
more Karma for certain things such as figuring out certain
situations, saving someone's life, and good role-playing skills.
Please remember, sometimes its better to use your head then your
gun (not always, but sometimes it is better)
- Reputation - In this campaign, you will have a reputation.
This cannot be bought. This will be given to you by the GMs.
Starting characters will have a reputation based on their
background. The first number is how well known you are for that
area, and the next number is either positive or negative, and
tells how the character is seen by each area (negative is not
liked, positive is liked, 0 is neautral) The following is a list
of the Reputations and a description:
- Black Market - This is how well known you are with the black
market, fixers, the Yakazula, Mafia, Triads, gangs, ect. This is
just an average of the whole, and does not represent the views of
all of the above.
- Corprate - This is how well known you are with the local
corps around Seattle.
- Global - This is how well known you are in the world as a
whole.
- Government - This is how well known you are with the local
government.
- Local - This is how well you are generaly known around
Seattle as a whole.
- Lone Star - This is how well known you are with the local
Lone Star, a high number is not necisarily bad as long as the
second is also high and positive.
- Media - This is how well known a runner is in the local
media. This is something that a runner wants to keep as low as
possible since Mr. Johnsons normally do not want to be recognized
with a known felon that is on Seattle's Most Wanted on the trid
every other night.
- Shadow - This is how well known you are with other
ShadowRunners, fixers, Mr. Johnsons, ect. This is good to have
a high number in both areas, since a Mr. Johnson may not want to
hire someone that has botched too many jobs before, unless its a
suicide mission.
- Vampires - I will allow one Vampire in the campaign for every
five (meta)human PC's in it. I do not use the ShadowRun rules
for Vampires, I have my own set of rules for them. I only want
extremely serious, and experieced runners for Vampires.
The campaign is currently under way. It may be
open to new arrivals, but I can not guarentee that they will be
able to enter the campaign due to space limitations. I will try
for two weeks to try to assense the average number of people in
each run, if it is high, then I will allow the group to splint
into two groups and run on a Friday for Group I and Saturday for
Group II.
I am no longer taking GM applications, but depending on how
things turn out, I may reopen for applications.
Seattle Times = #1,#2,#3,#4, #5

street name, age, sex, ect.)
