Contact Definitions
A contact is a person(s) that you call to when you need help. You will normally need to have a contact to do a specific job such as hack a database, sell you some weapons, sell you some drugs, find out information, find other contacts, do a background check on someone (Mr. Johnson for Example), or just about anything else your heart desires.
Type: Contact(Level I)
Cost: 5,000¥
Notes: This is the standard ShadowRun contact. These contacts function like real life aquaintences. They may know information that a character needs and will probally reveal it, but he could also keep it a secret just because he does not feel any particular loyalty to a character. On the good side, a contact probally won't remember the character is the bad guys come looking for the character, and if he does, he won't know where to find him.
Type: Buddy(Level II)
Cost: 10,000¥
Notes: A buddy knows and sees a character on a regular basis. The runner and buddy have developed a certain level of trust, and the buddy will remain loyal as long as the character does not have to stick his neck out too much. They will almost always provide information a runner is looking for and may even "keep his ear to the ground" for a runner if he has the time.
Type: Gang/Tribe
Cost: 50,000¥
Noted: This is a Gang or Tribe that the character is either a part of, or allied with. They usually will help him out if needed, or give the runner somewhere to hide if someone is looking for him. They generally give information, and erally know more information since it is more people.
Type: Followers(Level III)
Cost: 200,000¥
Notes: This is more than just a buddy, this is a friend for life. The runner may have grown up with this person, or may have helped this person out in a fire fight with the Lone Star. Followers know the runner well and interacts with him on a very regular basis. These people are hard to find, but are very useful as long as the runner does not screw up too much with s person.
