Track 11: Hyperspace
From the Star Control 2 (3DO version) disc. It sounds pretty good for a game from 1992. Hyperspace is just what it says - the background music for whenever you travel through hyperspace. Considering I think you easily spend half your game time in H-space, the background music has to be catchy without becoming annoying the Nth time you hear it, and I think they succeeded. I particularly like the key change at about 2'19" - to me, that's the best part of the track. Be sure to listen for the growls and howls that Otto and the other spacers mention. Download
