• You can only carry 80 rice at one time.
  
• You need at least 1400 jewels to carry this off. You should have more than that, in case you want to use the Inn, buy healing items, etc.
  
• This list requires you buy rice from the vendor in the upper left corner of the market, where it costs 3 jewels per bag; beads from the vendor on the left wall, below the entrance; and spice in the middle, next to the perfume vendor (to the right of the doom-saying prophet). These are the best vendors for these items.
  
• You'll want the Armor Polish for the big fight; afterwards, when you can peruse the market without a time limit, you can trade the Armor Polish for the Silver Sheath. The Sheath increases Sword power; but most of the time you'll be using an Axe or Spear instead (such as in the arena fight right after this section), so you'd be better off with better armor.
  
• You'll be able to use the leftover items on this list later, both in Nobilia and in Gothica.
