Hawth is originally from Waterdeep.  He has been sailing the
Sword Coast for nearly 20 years.  Hawth is the partial owner of
the Dancer-Upon-the-Waves; he shares the ownership with Pasha
Trigan Ollararn of Calimshan.

Hawth is 6' tall and weighs in at a respectable 190 lbs.  He is
completely bald, what little hair he does grow, he shaves every
second day.  His eyes are brown and he wears a earring of a
circular dragon through his left ear.  This is his lucky charm.
He knows it is magic but he is not sure what it does (it is a
periapt of proof against poison, +2).

Hawth is a business man, first and foremost.  He will not carry
passengers unless he can get a better price for them than cargo.
Also cargo does not cause problems with his crew.  However, have
a magic-user or two on hand is always handy if the ship is
attacked by pirates or monsters.  He will ask for 10 gp a person
per ride (10 days) of travel, 7 gp per ride for mages, for a
cabin.  The cabin is the one in the forecastle.  It is one large
cabin with hooks for hammocks.  Hawth does not have any hammocks
available for use.

Velorn Windson,

Velorn Windson is the first mate upon Dancer-Upon-the-Waves.  He is a
quiet and canny elf.  He watches everything and keeps an eye on
everybody.  Velorn is totally devoted to Hawth and will back the
captain up no matter how wrong he is.  Velorn owes this debt to Hawth
because Hawth rescued him from slavers in the pits of Calimport.
Velorn doesn't know why, and has never asked.

Velorn has long straight blonde hair, green eyes, and a tanned
smooth complexion.  He wears two large hoop earrings in his ears.
One of the earrings in magical and allows Velord to increase his
hear noise proficiency +50%.  Velorn likes greys and blues and
usually wears these colors.  However, on the open seas he is
usually shirtless unless it is too cold.

Fane Darkwolf, Cleric of Bane,

Fane is a good-looking young man, with curly black hair that
flows down his back to his shoulders, green eyes, and fair tanned
skin.  He usually wears full, flowing silk shirts constrained by
vests, loose flowing pants, high soft boots, and a ankle-length
leather cloak.

Lyorn Zambedia, Noble Bad Guy,

Lyorn is tall (6'9") and well-built (250 lbs).  He has curly
blonde hair that he is rather vain about.  Lyorn wears his hair
in curls reach down to his shoulders.  He has green eyes and
wears a thin mustache.  He like to wear satins and smooth-
clothes.  His favorite colors are blue and white and he is
usually dressed in those two colors.

An minor lord of Tethyr, Lyorn is an agent of Cyric (but has
sympathies for the Cult of Bane).  Lyorn's jobs include fomenting
the chaos that dominates Tethyr until Zhentil Keep can find a
suitable puppet to bring forth as the heir to the Tethyrian
throne.  Lyorn has been approached by the cult of Bane and while
he did not join, he has let the cult know that he will neither
hinder nor harm members of the cult that pass through Tethyr.
Lyorn is connected with the sphere as he was visiting the village
of Blackcandle when the sphere was being made. When the sphere
exploded, Lyorn was the first one at the scene.  Varney suspects
him of holding one of the shards.

E'vane Daggerthon,

E'vane is a urbane and charismatic individual.  He never starts
trouble, always seeking to negotiate rather than have a
disagreement come to blows.  However, he is also a vindictive
person, never forgetting a slight.  If a person does E'vane
wrong, you can bet that E'vane will cause that person's downfall
eventually.

Evane stand about 5'9" tall and weighs 170 lbs.  He has dark
brown hair with a lock of silver falling in front.  He has blue
eyes, a pleasent smile, and clear brown complexion.  He is
usually dressed in merchant-type clothes: ivory full-sleeved
shirts constrained by a lether vest, comfortable black pants, low
hard boots.  E'vane wears a holy symbol of Cyric pinned to the
inside of his vest.

E'vane is a merchant.  He travels up and down the Sword Coast
trading goods between Waterdeep, Luskan, Baldur's Gate, and
Scornubel.  He has been doing this for five years (being a priest
of Myrkul before he converted to Cyric).  Currently he is trading
fine metal ingots that he picked up in Luskan for rare woods from
Maztica.  He plans of travelling to Scornubel where he will sell
the woods at a profit, outfit a caravan with horses, wool, and
fine textile and move for Cormyr.

E'vane is currently not involved in any Zhentarim plots.
However, he does keeps his ears open and alert for any
information the Black Network can use.
