Dog Graembreth, bully-boy for E'vane,
by dragon@cybernetics.net
"Dog" Graembreth, human male; 11th level fighter; AL LE; AC -1;
MV 12; hp 114; THAC0 7 or 2 (with Bloodlover); #AT 3/2 or 2
(speciality); damage: by weapon type (specialized in battle axe,
+12 with Bloodlover); S 18/00, D 12, C 18, I 10, W 9, Ch 7;
Bloodlover, a +4 battle axe, +2 plate mail, +1 shield, amulet of
healing (new item, upon falling to 0 hit points or less, this
amulet expends a charge, healing 2d4+8 points of damage. If
wearer still has negative hit points, then amulet expends two
charges on the next round, healing 4d4+16 points of damage. This
continues until (a) the amulet runns out of charges, (b) the
wearer is conscious, or (c) the amulet is removed from its
wearer's body. This amulet has 10 charges left).
"Dog" is very big and physically imposing (6'2" and 280 lbs.).
He is balding with white-blonde wispy hair. His left eye is milk
white and Dog is blind in it (-2 to all missile attacks). Dog
has a long scar that runs down from his forehead, over the left
eye, across to his mouth, and down to his chin. This scar gives
him a perpetual sneer. His other eye is light blue.
Dog dresses in furs and rough cottons and continually carries his
axe, Bloodlover, around with him. Within the cities of the
Realms, he keep Bloodlover sheathed and tied in its sheath, but
several blows with the sheathed axe causes the shealth to fall
away. (In game terms this means when he strikes with the
sheathed axe he does 1d8-2 base damage. The sheath then needs to
roll a 12 or better on a d20 to stay on. This save is modified by -1
for every blow that Dog lands. Once the sheath falls off in this
manner, it is ruined, as it has been sliced off.)
Dog does not speak much and does everything that E'vane tells him
to do (E'vane charmed Dog long ago and continually re-casts the
spell every week.) Dog hates orcs with a passion and attacks
them on sight unless E'vane orders him to keep the peace.

enjoys the effect her body has on the men she meets. Zeddana is a
beautiful and vane woman, often using her magic to enhance her
appearance.
Zeddana is a bit of an information monger. She has used her skills as
a mage and a courtesan to place herself in a position where she can
hear all the latest news and gossip about the nobles of Calimshan.
She uses this information to improve her position, sell secrets, and
provde information to the Cult of Bane.
A Calisite sorceress, Zeddana is the main agent of the Bane cultists
in Calimsham. Zeddana was a favorite of Shadowhaunt (the leader of
the Cult of Bane) and supplied a good many of the material components
the cult needs.

a +3 throwing dagger (returns after it hits or misses).
Farla is a woman about thirty, with short blond hair and blue
eyes. Her face has quite a few healed scar on it. She smiles
often but the smiles do not reach her eyes.
A fighter and former priest of Bane, Farla is a mean, hard woman. She
tolerates no weakness and always strikes the hardest and fastest that
she can. She realizes that ever battle can not be won by an open
attack, so she often hires bandits and servants to take the brunt of
the attack. When these hirelings are taken care of, then she strikes.

Nayal is the leader of the cult of Bane's forces in Waterdeep. Nayal
is a skilled actor, especially talented in playing a friendly,
bumbling, and completely unthreatening monk. He is not sadistic as
his assistant, Separ, but he does enjoy the mayhem he creates in the
services of Bane.
Nayal is tall (6'5") and thin (160 lbs). He dresses in brown, coarse
robes, wears a holy symbol of Ilmater, and carries a staff. So far he
has not been caught in his disception. He has been in Waterdeep for
several weeks now and has made a point of being available and helpful
for the watch. As such, Nayal has become known and trusted by the
watch commanders.
Separ, priest of Bane,
by dragon@cybernetics.net
Separ; human male; 5th level priest of Bane; AL CE; AC 6; MV 12; hp
28; THAC0 18; #AT 1; damage by weapon (footman's mace 1d6+1, +1 due to
strength) or weapon; S 16, D 11, C 15, I 10, W 15, Ch 8; club, flail,

cause light wounds + 3 others; flame blade, spiritual hammer + 2
others; cause serious wounds; amulet of counterdetection (new item,
causes any alignment or motivational divination magics to be reversed.
I.e. CE would appear as LG to a know alignment spell).
Separ is lean and frail, a quiet glowering man, he has a deep hatred
and contempt for those that do not share his beliefs. This hatred is
manifest in a deep, sadistic nature that compels him to inflict pain
and suffering whenever possible. He dislikes Nayal (his superior in
the Black Network) intensely, but at the same time he is deathly
afraid of the more powerful priest. In fact, if Separ could arrange
the downfall of Nayal while assuring that the goals of Bane are
accomplished, Separ would.
Separ is about 6' tall and 170 lbs. He has long black hair that
he wears loose. He keeps his hair back from his face by means of
a golden circle (15 gp). The circle is a gift from his mother
before she was dragged off the the altars of Bane in Zhentil
Keep.
