componants, continual light on a sun stone round his neck, ring of
fire resistance.
Personality: Lathelle is a grey elf by birth but is now a gold elf by
reincarnation. This is why some of the above may be slightly out.
He also went insane for a while by using a scry mirror for too long.
The reason for his overuse of the mirror was to locate any members of
his family. He has no recollection of his early years because it was
lost when he was reincarnated). He knows he is of Myth Drannorian
noble blood but little else and this is a constant thought in his
reverie.
His alignment is CG. Known to cast spells without total consideration
of the consequences if the threat looks great (for instance he has
cast fireball in too small a space to wipe out all of the enemy).
His outward appearance is of a 200 year-old gold elf with two long
swords one each side and fine elven chain mail. He also wears a long
cloak of deep purple with a quarter moon and raidiating star on it.
Black knee length boots and a gold ring with green gem and a silver
ring (ring of fire protection).

Personality: Dale is a preist of Brandibarous(sp?) and as such is
quite an impetuous (sp?) character with a warped sense of humour (e.g
stealing another clerics holy symbol and replacing it with one for his
own god).
An adept thief who prides himself or doing the impossible. The phrase
"it cannot be opened" or "there is no way in" are meaningless to him.
A proud halfling who does not take well to being called "Shorty" as
some humans have found out to the folly. Hailing from Waterdeep he is
no stranger to the city or the wilderness and has thoughout his career
managed to obtain the best gems without being noticed.
He wear his holy symbol on a chain around his neck. Also a cloak of
black silk hides his face when he so wishes. A lover of fine food and
even finer wine can be found in taverns from Shadowdale to Waterdeep.
Also, a bit of trivia: Tanglefoot is actually a beer I found on sale
in my local supermarket and thought it was the ideal name for a
halfling. It just goes to show you never know when a character will
be born.
Danzig the Black,
by: Jason Choi <cjc044@email.mot.com>
CG, STR 18/75 or *20, 15th Level Fighter (Berzerker)
This proud warrior is both devious and devestating in manner. He is
close to 6'4 in height, and his body is a powerfully built frame of
muscle developed from the hardships of a nomadic life whilst growing
up in the desolate wastelands of the artic north. He is the only
member of his tribe to possess black hair, though he is the chosen
champion of his people, the Clan of the Raven. He dresses in black
leather and blackened chainmail as well. His face is painted ghastly
white, and his Shoulder length black hair is kept in dreads. Silvery
earrings pierce his ears as his face is smooth and ruggedly handsome,
darkened by stubble and nicked with scars from shaving with a dagger.
His chosen weapon is the Hammer, while he enjoys fighting with Two
Handed swords and is skilled with a myriad of other weaponry his kin
commonly employ such as the Spear, Javelin, and Ax. A tatoo of a
Black Crow is emblazoned upon his chest, symbolizing his status among
his clan, the 'chosen' one.
Danzig has recently taken flight from his beloved homeland to
adventure in the southern dynasties of the world in search of his
destiny. His dreams and ambitions are to rally an army and defeat the
Dark Empire scum who have declared a 'secret' war with his people in
hopes to eradicate them and claim their lands. He currently seeks to
gain entrance into the seven Kingdoms, a land whose borders are closed
off to the outside world and only heroes or those whose blood flows
with ancient & noble lines may enter. And so he seeks to gain fame &
recognition by performing some quest of great magnitude, in hopes that
the Lords of the Seven Kingdoms will hear him speak.
Danzig, while a savage northerner, has greatly honed Instinct which
hardly ever fails him when he relies on his wits. He seeks a wife to
call his own, and hopes to one day bear many sons & daughters who will
bear his legacy.
In battle, his armament is rare and unmatched. First, he wears a
Girdle of Stone Giant Strength, and Black-Spiked Gauntlets of Ogre
power, useful for boxing and hand striking. His weapon is a 'Hammer
of Thunderbolts', with which he is master at throwing with uncanny
precision. He uses this killing weapon only against worthy enemies,
otherwise he will do battle with a Keen edged Great Sword, one he
forged himself,which inflicts 2d10 HP damage. Danzig is a walking
arsenol and is never found without a minumum of 12 different weapons
on him at all times.
Three times a week Danzig may call upon his totem for divine aid, and
will receive it, for he is heir to the glory of his ancestors. The
spirit of the Raven will answer is summons, the Raven shares an
empathy with Danzig, and the two will share senses. Danzig will be
able to regenerate HP at 2 per round in the birds presence, and is
never suprised. The Raven requires a +1 or better weapon to affect
it, it cannot be seen from afar. Those who kill it are 'cursed' in
some way.
His closest companion is Orath, a rogue from a distant land whose
people are cousins to Danzig's kin. The two have been friends for
quite some time, and while their personalities often are different, in
some odd way they compliment one another.
Orath,
by: Jason Choi <cjc044@email.mot.com>
Male Human, AL CN, 14th Level Thief
This man is a former bandit who tried, unsuccessfully, to waylay
Danzig long ago when the two were still teenagers, because Danzig was
dressed in the uniform of a Dark Empire Storm trooper as a disguise.
When Orath discovered Danzig's true identity, the two became close
friends quickly as their true selves surfaced when faced with a fight
against the Emperor Ryeakin's minions. Orath was raised on the
streets of Ramshackles, a outpost settlement on the fringes of the
Bandit Kingdom. He is a master of disguise, a skilled actor, and a
quick wit.
His usual disguise is to go about dressed in the livery of a merchant,
his charming personality allows him to con the gullible of their coin
purses or to trick the dull witted into doing his bidding. His usual
guise is a suit of black studded leather armor and a gray travelling
cloak. His hair is short and reddish brown, his eyes a lustrous
green, and his face is narrow and angular, youthful looking. One
aspect about Orath is his vanity, he thinks himself quite attractive
and will at odd times check his face for any imperfections, even in
middle of a bloody battle!
During combat, he is prone to hurling daggers or bolas at his foes.
If caught in melee, he fights with a handaxe in each hand, which are
coated with a toxic venom that causes a enemy to be 'slowed' if they
are struck by his axes and fail a save vs poison at -4. He carries a
Double Crossbow at the saddle of his mount, one of the bolts is
attached to a cord and his horse, he fires the corded bolt at riders
in hopes to dismount them.
His main killing weapon is a Sword, Final Word, a rare enchanted saber
found in the tomb of King Silverbones, a ancient sorceror king who
perished long ago, sustained by his greed,he gained Lichhood and
survived even in death, though Danzig & Orath had to kill him a second
time to steal his treasures. There are only 9 blades of its like
rumored to exist in the universe.

Since just about everyone else appears to be posting NPC's here i
figured taht in return for taking yours i'd give one back. This was my
very first character i played so if you use him please keep him alive! :)
Keep in mind he was played in origional DND and demihumans there were classes
as well as races. OD&D elves equate to Elf fighter/mages. I've tried to
translate it into AD&D 2nd ed. so bear with me. The stats are up to you.
Galinthas "Galen" Brightstar,
From: The Krazee ELph <dac866@delphi.com>
Elf(fighter/mage) Lvl 20/20 AL: NG
HISTORY
~~~~~~~
Galinthas's parents were killed just a year after he was born in a
freakish tornado that decimated their clan's village. Galinthas was
sent to his closest blood realtive, an uncle in Penhaligon. His
uncle, Ranthac was a diplomat negotiating trade for their clan in
Penhaligon. Galinthas grew up surrounded by humans and dwarves,
giveing him a deep respect for individualism and losing many elven
prejudices. He shortened his name to Galen for ease in dealing with
his human and dwarven friends. His uncle trained him in the sword for
protection, but it was a friend of Galen's that taught him the most
about swordplay.
Garth Elickzord, a lieutenant in Penhaligon's town guard, taught Galen
the use of all swords as well as Galen's best weapon, the Crossbow.
Garth also taught Galen a small amount of blind fighting. Galen
earned some money to use towards a sword by taking bets in archery
contests where he would fire blindfolded.
Once he reached adulthood his uncle sent him back to his village.
After having been gone for many years his village reaccepted him
slowly, as he dressed in human armor and spoke with a slight human
accent. Just three months after returning to his village he fell in
love with a beautiful maiden from the farm next to his. They married
and lived happily for 2 years. Galen's wife had just born their first
child when Galen was exiled from the village. He had been framed for
murdering a clan elder. He left peaceefully but made his family stay
behind so as not to bring his dishonor down on them. He moved to
Threshold where he signed up for a journey into the nearby caves for
the church. In this party he met his best friend, a dwarf named
Charlon.
The party remained together after their first adventure for many
adventures before retiring. Galen returned to his village with
Charlon and another elf from the party, Sivlan Crystalshadow, to find
the village on fire. Twenty orcs were attacking the village and
stealing most of the valubles. With Charlon and Sivlan at his side
they fought off the remaining orcs with the remaining townsmen.
Finding the clan elders dead or wounded Galen took charge. He first
led the surviving women, children, eldery, and wounded to a nearby
paladin's fortress. Then with the remaining healthy men he set about
building a new stronghold for the elves. Using many woodform and
permanency spells he enlarged and hollowed out rooms from a giant
vallenwood tree. Charlon built a small dwarven cavern/village beneath
the tree for added defense. Once the elven clan relocated to "The
Tree" to reinstated Galen's honor and made him a clan elder.
APPEARANCE
~~~~~~~~~~
Galen is quite tall for an elf, standing about 6'1" and wieghing just
over 160 lbs. He is very lighthearted and quick to laugh. If any of
his friends are attacked though he will be extremly vindictive and
come to his friends aid. He can usually be found in the gym inside
the tree or in the gardens. He has long red hair kept back in a
ponytail. His dark green eyes and gentle smile give the elf a calm,
intelligent look. His right arm has several long scars from a giant
leech that attched to his arm in the first dungeon trip.
Galen always wears a set of field plate mail +2 under his clothes.
His green and brown elvish cloack allows him to blend into and
forested area (1 in 8 to see him). At his side hangs his "Sword of
Dragonkind" which he has named "Dragoblade" and on his back is slung
his Crossbow "Blackbolt". The crossbow is +3 to hit as well as
damage. It is unique. After being fired Blackbolt automatically
reloads. This allows Galen to fire three bolts per round in combat.
Also up to three times a day the crossbow can set a quarrel on fire as
it leaves the bow. The bow can blink to Galen's hand at will and will
not fire for anyone but Galen.
His only other item of significance is a bejewelled pendant around his
neck. Once a month it can call the owners of the 9 matching pendants
to his aid. The members of his adventuring party have the other 9
pendants. The party will move at forced march till they arrive at
Galen's location. The party consists of:
1)Human Cleric of Tyr 2) Human Paladin 3)Elf Druid 4)Human Thief
5)Human Fire Mage 6)Human Air Mage 7) Dwarf warrior 8)Charlon
9)Halfling thief 10) Galen
They are all at least lvl 15 and have plenty of magic to thwart
enemies. Galen will only call in the direst of need, because he is
slightly arrogant.
USES?
^^^^^
Galen has many friend in high, as well as low, places, and will have
pretty good chances of getting information for PCs. High also has
much money and may fund the PCs for a 20% cut. He also stidently
defends the area around the tree.
