The Fighters Anthology Missions Page

One of the best features of Fighter's Anthology is the mission editor. With the aid of this device, and a few other tips and tricks, I've been able to construct all manner of... interesting missions. OK, I'll admit, I have a taste for writing missions that are a touch on the unusual side. But it's kind of fun, really.

Some of these missions have been designed specifically to work with the FlopDog McSporran Airlines series of .lib files. These will be marked where neccacary. The others can be used with or without the .lib.

So pull up a mission, sit back, relax and go shoot up some bad guys. And allways keep an eye out for the duck hunters!

(01/02/01) Gnus Update! The Taiwan and Flying Office Block missions have been updated to keep them in line with the current version of FlopDog McSporran Airlines. Other missions will be progewssively updated, or are ready to play as is.

  Lead your F-16 squadron in an attack on the most hostile, most heavily defended piece of territory in the known earth: Las Vegas. Designed for use with the Flopdog McSporran Airlines .lib.
• Operation Fred by Rick R. Mortis.
  The most insane mission ever! Based on a mission I created ages ago for Falcon 3.0, Operation: Fred could be best described as "you vs the universe." Features: Crazy North Koreans, Naughty Plutonium, Duck Hunters, HellGuy, the 1 Nuclear and Bed Springs, Nevada. Certified 100% Y2J free. Designed for use with the Flopdog McSporran Airlines .lib.
• Atomic Monster Theatre 3000 by Rick R. Mortis.
  Aiee! Huge rubber monsters attack Japan! Citizens flee in badly dubbed terror! Who will save us from this horrible fate? I guess it's up to you, buddy. Have fun. Not designed for use with the Flopdog McSporran Airlines .lib, but you can use it anyway.
• Eekirik by Rick R. Mortis.
  Based on a true story (no, really). Save the world from an evil school camp. If you were ever traumatised by outdoor education, this is the mission for you! Not designed for use with the Flopdog McSporran Airlines .lib, but you can use it anyway.

• War in the East by Rick R. Mortis. In 2008, a disintegrating China and a resurgent Russia go to war for control of the Vladivostok Peninsula. The Chinese can ill-afford to loose, and have deployed their most advanced fighters into the war. Fly against the new J-10 ATF and other fighters. Requires the FlopDog McSporran Airlines .lib.

• Operation Tiger by Rick R. Mortis. Down for Renovations!
  In the Year 2012, China is on the rise. Flexing its military muscle, The People's Republic aim to conquer Vietnam, deploying their newly-built aircraft carrier, the Chairman Mao. Fly as a pilot of the People's Liberation Army Navy in the new navalised J-10 Advanced Technology Fighter. Contains its own .lib file, as well as requiring the FlopDog McSporran Airlines .lib

• Taiwan War by Rick R. Mortis. Updated 18/01/2001!
  China has long viewed Taiwan as a "rebel province" that needs to be bought back into the fold. The use of military force is deemed the only way to do that. The vastly out-numbered Taiwanese Air Force face off against the PLA for control of Taiwan. Requires the FlopDog McSporran Airlines .lib.

• Attack of the Flying Office Block by Rick R. Mortis. Updated 18/01/2001!
  This is based on a dream I once had. I kid you not. The World's most dangerous terrorists have hijacked an office building and taken it to Libya, and you're the only one who can get it back! Contains its own .lib file, as well as requiring the FlopDog McSporran Airlines .lib

• Aftermath by Rick R. Mortis. Down for Renovations!
  Actually, a seventeen-mission mini-campaign. Set in a fractured, post-apocalyptic United States circa 2019. The North American Empire takes on a rouge group who are in possession of a dangerous arsenal, with the fate of the entire continent in the balance. Contains its own lib, also requires the FlopDog McSporran Airlines .lib.
• Aftermath 2: Panama by Rick R. Mortis. Down for Renovations!
  A twelve-mission mini-campaign. Following the defeat of the Black Plague, the North American Empire has a new worry. Rumours are abound that a dangerous new enemy has taken control of the Panama canal. Who are they? And what will happen? Contains its own lib, also requires the FlopDog McSporran Airlines .lib.
