The Sareks or Redshanks as there fondly called by their Garaleyan neighbours are a superstitious clannish race. Much of their ancestry and traditions come from the time when Ronics inhabited parts of their lands so there is a strong mix of Garaleyan and Irdinian within them. There are even some parts of their islands where they worship the Irdinian religion. They are separated into different clans and each clan has their own tartan. These different clans sometimes war among each other but usually stay loyal to the King. They are a people who love festivity and celebrate many things and they are well known for their storytelling of which they use during the winters to wile away the time.

Physical Description
 Like their Earlish cousins they are a large race and often quite powerfully built. Their hair colour ranges from black to red and is often worn long. Their height ranges from 5ft11 to 6ft5 in men and 5ft9 to 6ft3 in women. Their eye colour ranges from blur to brown.
The most distinguishing of the Sareks clothing are their tartan which consists of three colours. Tartan clothing worn are a Plaid which is a small band worn across the shoulder, a fairly large wrap which is usually slung from the waist up and over the shoulder and of course the kilt of which no description is needed.
Due to their superstitious nature the Sareks get a +1 bonus to all mental magical saving throws and a -1 penalty to all physical magical saving throws.
