Description
The Shadow Rider is a tall, dark, imposing figure. His features are always in shadow from his long flowing dark hooded cloak. His hands when seen are black talons. Underneath his hood the only thing that can be seen are two intense glowing green eyes.
From those few that have heard him speak say he speaks with a quiet whispering hissing voice.
His steed is a black stallion which also has glowing green eyes. Sometimes you can almost see through it.
It is said that the Rider and his steed can take on other appearances.

Background
Very little is known about the Shadow Rider (Shadow Lord). It is known that he seeks out Undead and destroys them. He is even said too seek out people tainted by Undead and cleanse them. Which usually means destroying them.
Many speculate that he himself is Undead. Little is known about his background yet there are many rumours.
Some scholars claim he was a Lord whose family and holdings were destroyed by Undead. He was driven mad with grieve and spend the rest of his days seeking out and destroying Undead. They say he eventually died at a Vampires and Death Knights hand yet his desire for vengeance was so great he returned from the Death Realm to continue his work.
Others say he hearkens back to the times of myth and legends and was either an ancient hero or one of the lesser gods.
