- False Creek Fisherman's Wharf Public Fish Sales Float
Vancouver: at 1505 West 1st Avenue (at the foot of Fir Street)
Dates: daily, year-round (dependent on availabilities)
Hours: dawn to dusk
Special Feature: Located close to the entrance to Granville
Island, the fish sales here include (seasonally) shrimp, salmon,
tuna, rock cod, shark and more. Shrimping was scheduled to open
July 16th--we suggest that you call first to confirm dates and
stock availabilities. Fishers can only sell what they're allowed
to catch, and there's no wholesale mark-up when you buy direct
from them so the prices are more than reasonable. Check out the
False Creek Harbour Authority website at www.falsecreek.com or
call their office at (604) 733-3625 for info.

salmon) or bi-valve mollusks. For info call the Steveston Harbour
Authority at (604) 272-5539.

stained glass, woodworking, garden ornaments, soap and candles.
Once a month (every second Sunday), master gardeners from VanDusen
Gardens are available to answer all your gardening questions. For
info call (604) 461-5387.
