My Dreams Came True

I was out in the dark, wishing away,
Hoping someone would come.
I waited so long, but no one came by
I almost said that I was done.....

After being mistreated, beaten and bruised,
I swore I wouldn't take anymore,
But that one day I looked up, and saw her come by
And right then I knew what was in store!!!!!

In all of the heavens and earth, from the ground to the sky,
I knew nothing could be as precious as you!!!!
From your beautiful smile, and the twinkle in your eye,
I knew that my dreams had finally came true!

Our first date was a blast, spontanious and fun,
Nothing seemed to put us down!
We couldn't make up our mind, we could do so many things,
So we decided to have a night on the town.

We walked through the park, hand in hand,
Until you tackled me to the ground.
I saw the love in your eyes, and without surprise,
I screamed, Oh Lord look what you have found!

I had waited so long, for this wonderful day;
A girl who would love me for me!
Her hugs were so warm, her kisses so hot,
That she was meant for me, I can see!

She treated me kind, loved me so much,
And when I cried she wiped my tears away.
She was without a doubt the most wonderful girl,
And then she told me to please stay!
She said STAY!

Oh girl, you don't even know how happy you make me!
You bring tears of joy with every moment that has passed!
If you truly say that you love me, and take me as I am,
I promise I'll show you the true meaning of ROMANCE!!!!
