[Music Gymnasium]

	Pony Canyon PCCG-00192 (1992.10.21), Y1500
        {was D27G-1003 (1989.7.21), Y2800}

        {Ongaku Doujou has the opening and first closing
         theme from the original "Ranma 1/2" series and
         one other vocal song heard briefly in the background
         of one episode. The rest of the tracks contain
         40 instrumentals of most of the excellent BGM of the
         original series. Well worth picking up if you like
         Ranma 1/2. It's fun associating the music with
         various scenes.  This is the one to get!}

[Hot Fighting Music Collection]

        {was PCCG-00013 (1990.1.21), Y2800}
        {Nettou-ongaku-hen has much of the early Ranma 1/2
         Nettouhen BGM. The only vocal is the first closing
         theme from Ranma 1/2 Nettouhen. The Nettouhen music
         is a lot more shallow and cartoony than the original
         series, except the music from the skating pair episodes
         which were made by the original producers, but weren't
         aired until Nettouhen. Some of it is cute, but overall
         flat by comparison with Ongaku Doujou.}

         "POSITIVE", all covers by characters, only about half
         are "musical". Sold with karuta cards, one deck with
         the first verses of the songs, and one with the first
         kana and a picture. The artwork is very simplistic,

        19 tracks: 18 instrumental/1 vocal, 36:58
        {Sound track of the 2nd movie. Music by Matsuura Akihisa.
         Also in a wide case, but this one includes a "luminous
         blueprints booklet" for the movie, which reads:

         Attention please, customers! This "luminous blueprints
         booklet" is printed in strange ink that absorbs light
         and shines. Before you see it in the dark place such
         as a theater, be sure to let it absorb enough light in
         a light place and enjoy it.

         It includes ink sketches of the main characters in
         various poses and attire, along with some kind of
         "impression" drawing. It seems to answer the question
         of who's the best built of the Ranma women.

         Beware, there's another version floating around that's
         just dialog snippets from the movie. Someone bought
         one, although it came with a videotape preview of the
         movie, about 3 minutes long. This one's cover is yellow,
         with scenes from the movie in boxes.}
