The Khabarovsk Krai is an acknowledged center of international tourism in the Russian Far East. On the one hand, the tourists are attracted by the splendid flora and fauna of the Krai as well as places of interest, with the customs and traditions of the indigenous people. The Geological museum displays a splendid collection of minerals and semiprecious stones, while the arboretum displays a great number of specimens of many plants growing throughout the different areas of the Russian Far East, and the canvases of many famous artists grace the Arts museum.
