CENTER OF STUDIES BATTLE OF THE EBRO - GANDESA

The Center of Studies Battle of the Ebro, this formed by a group of people
interested with the history, the recovery of warlike material, documentary
and cultural of the understood fundamentally time between the months of
July to November of the year 1938. Date in which he took place the bloody
and sadly famous Battle of the Ebro, inside the whole context of the Civil
Spanish War.
The main interest of this Center of Studies, he is create a Museum or
permanent Exposicion in Gandesa, always with cultural purposes in order
to study the life and death of thousand of men in a cruel war that he took
place in our lands of the Ebro.
In order to carry out this project, the city council of Gandesa,het
have given a building of more than 800 m2 of surface and that he was built
1929 and this distributed in 10 classrooms for exhibitions in the year
as well as other complementary dependences.

This project goes bound to some cultural and historical visits for the
several places where he took place the Battle of the Ebro, with explanations"
in situ" of the several fronts of battle between:
The Fatarella
The visit to the several commemorative monuments like that of her Sees
of Pandols, dedicated to the Peace.
- A special visit to Corbera of Ebro.
- Visits where they settled hospitals of campaign like:

Visits to the fortifications and trenches, some destroyed, another intact
