As Ranma is still sleeping in his room, all sorts of people are dropping
by the Dojo. Shinji Ikari has just been thrown from a battle with the Angels
to the Ranma universe, and is severely wounded. Johannes has lost consciousness
right in the dojo for no reason. Ostrich feels a familiar sense in Ranma’s
universe, and enters the warp hole there. Ranma sees Ostrich in front of
the dojo, but notices that another person, Keagan Silvermane, is around
the corner. Ostrich recognizes Keagan, being an unseasy acquaintance from
long ago. Ranma sees Shinji in the dojo, bruised from battle, and tends
to his wounds and at the same time trying to get Johannes awake. Ostrich
offers a medicine called the Antler’s Powder to heal Shinji. Shinji comes
around, and is dazed to find himself in another world. Ranma and Keagan
asks about Shinji’s universe, and tries to keep him from going back.
Suddenly, a sinister sorcerer, Danek Letose, shows up right in front of
Ranma, and tries to murder him to get rid of competition in the tournament.
Ranma proves he’s not easy kill, and deflects attempts for his life. During
the fight, Ranma feels a strange sensation within him, that beckons him
to be unconsciously cat – like, with the cat’s ferocity and speed. It was
the blue seed that was somehow implanted inside Ranma by Murakumo. Murakumo
muses at the effects of the seed. Ranma turned back to normal via the splash
of a water, and Danek takes the moment’s advantage to cast a spell that
sends Ranma into another universe: RIFT’s Earth – a place that looks prehistoric
yet is full of technology. Ranma-chan was trying to find a warp hole back
into the Dimensional Nexus. Nakago teleports to where Ranma is, and tries
to teleport back out, but find it impossible. Lead by the instincts of
the Blue Seed, and angered by the fact of the outrageous attack by Danek,
Ranma powers up into Super Saiyajin mode and heads for the continent of
Europe, where a large black tree stands. Nakago follows. Ranma is halted
by a monster, who will allow Ranma to go pass only if Nakago gives up the
black materia, which he received a couple weeks ago. Makago betrays
Ranma and offers Ranma for his own safe passage. Ranma gets mad, rams right
through the monster and Nakago with a burst of energy, and flies up to
the top of the tree. A warp hole is guarded inside a force field on top
of the tree. Ranma-chan, now really pissed by the force field and all,
summons all her ki and concentrates it into a ground shaking Kamehame Ha,
which breaks the force field, allowing Ranma to return to the Dimensional
Nexus. She powers down once she’s back in her world, and sees Ostrich making
camp at a forest. Tasuki and Popular Zero are with her. She joins them,
turns back into a boy with some self boiled hot water. Just then Nakago
shows up, making Ranma tensing up. Fortunately he leaves without much trouble.
