A Long and Thorough Summary

Endless Waltz begins on AC 195, Christmas Eve. Images of the final battle in space with the White Fang Colony and the Earth's government appear. The five Gundams are attacking the mobile dolls, etc. The narrator explains that the year is now After Colony 196. The scene changes to Sally Po (Codename: Water) commenting on an object in space containing Neo-Titanium. Confusion is expressed on her face. The Heavy Arms, Wing Zero, Sandrock, and Deathscythe are being loaded into 'hangar block' and sent to the sun along with a scrap satellite. However, Wu-fei did not bring his to be sent to the sun. Duo and Quatre are there to send the Gundams off. On Endo, Noin and Lady Une take part in an end-of-the-year celebration during Christmas. The president stands behind a podeum, making a speech on peace between the Colonies and Earth. Lady Une and Noin turn to leave after making remarks regarding the president's low budget on the preventer's group, a military group led by Lady Une.   Sally Po (in space) communicates with Noin, who is in Edo. Sally Po voices her opinions on how someone may be making Neo-Titanium. They discuss on whether it could be used to make a New Mobile Suit. Sally Po only says that they may have to stop this manufacturer. Relena Peacraft, now the Vice Foreign Prime Minister, is sent to colony L3-X18999. The representatives there ask for Relena to stay and help. However, Relena takes a sip of tea and falls unconcious. Suddenly, men in red coats and yellow tries rush in and are given orders to take Relena away. A short scene introducing Mariemeia and Dekim comes on. Meanwhile, in the circus, Catharine and Trowa see a handful of men standing in the stands, wearing black. Trowa disappears to 'take care of them' while also finding out that they are from the 'Barton Group'. Trowa thinks back to when Heavyarms was still in making, and how a man brought him (calling him "no name") aside and showed him a picture of a little girl, Mariemeia. The man explains how she, his niece, will become the ruler. Heero, in front of a computer, checks up information on the Bartons. Duo comes in, commenting on Heero working on Christmas. Heero promptly ignores the comment, walking out the door saying that Relena had been kidnapped. Duo comments on Heero's "crush." On Colony L3-X18999 Dekim, standing in front of many men in red uniforms and grey/blue uniforms, expresses the need to help Mariemeia-sama reach her goal. The man finds Trowa hiding in the group. Trowa jumps up to the man and tries to kill him, only to find Wu-fei challenging him with a sword, ordering him to stop. Noin (Codename: Fire) is communicating to Sally Po through a screen reagrding the Colony L3-X18999 receiving Neo-Titanium and declaring independence. Sally Po explains how the leader is Mariemeia Barton. Not only is it too late to stop them, they have captured Relena and will declare independence soon. Relena awakens to be greeted by a small girl with orange hair. She introduces herself as Mariemeia Kushrenada, the daughter of Trieze Kushrenada. Relena expresses her surprise in this news, only to be ordered by Mariemeia to stop making rude comments about her plans to take over earth and her rightful heritage. Mariemeia also refuses to tell Relena why she has brought her here. Quatre talks to Duo about going to catch up to the satellite and retrieving the Gundams. Quatre and his team are trying to catch up to the Gundams by taking a separate route, finding out the Gundams are still needed. Duo tells him to go ahead but be careful about it. Duo and Heero fly off to the new colony while Quatre and his group follows the satellite to intercept the Gundams flying to the sun. (New footage that was not in the OAVs) Duo thinks about how he tried to explode and destruct his Gundam once. However, he was unable to because his scientist fixed It so he couldn't. Duo explains how he was going to kill the scientist and himself after Deathscythe destructed. The scientist tells him that he should instead steal the Gundam since it is such a piece of art and would be a waste to destroy. Heero, not listening dreams back of one of his missions that he actually messed up. During the mission, he meets an innocent young girl with a small dog who talks to him for a little while. Then, come night, Heero explodes an area filled with mobile suits. However, one suit accidentally falls on a civilian building, coincidentally the one where the young girl lived. Astonished, he runs to the building and watches it burn while he is unable to do anything. Heero walks there to see that the small dog is dead in the snow and possibly the girl too. (A picture of the teddy bear in the TV opening scene is also in the snow) Heero picks up the dog and a conversation between Dr. J and someone else is heard in the background. They fight over how the real Heero Yuy would not have wanted to kill everyone in the world to achieve peace. Duo wakes Heero up telling him that Mariemeia is going to make an announcement. Duo points to the screen, just as Mariemeia makes her speech. The Colony is declaring independence and also war on Earth. She introduces herself as Mariemeia Kushrenada, and will try to continue what her father started. Noin and Sally Po voices their confusion when Marimeya says that she is Trieze's daughter. A man calls Lady Une, berating her on how she let this happen on one of the colonies. Lady Une argues how she may not be able to do much, only to be hung up by the man earlier. A man with long, blond hair comes out. Lady Une gasps almost saying his name. He says that his codename is 'Wind'. (Suspicously looks/sounds like Zechs Merquise/Miliardo Peacraft) Heero and Duo converse about how they are going to get into Colony X-18999 and steal a mobile suit. Sally Po and Noin get a signal that another ship is coming towards L3, only to find that it is Duo and Heero. Duo slightly ignores them, telling them to not be late of the "cake." Noin and Sally Po decide to distract L3 while Duo and Heero maneuver into the base. Duo drops 'boxes' of missiles, which open up to seek and explode the enemy attacking them. Duo hurls the shuttle at them and uses a small red ship, fly into an opening...or rather…crashes into an opening. They find mobile suits and separate. Noin and Sally Po leave, confident in Duo and Heero's success. While back at the colony, Duo and Heero force there way in with stolen mobile suits. Duo is greeted by Trowa in a mobile suit, and Heero must get past Wu-fei, who is in his Shenlong Gundam. Heero tells Wufei to self-destruct and stop fighting. Not listening, he continues to fight. Duo tells Trowa to stop but Trowa says that he is not Trowa. Trowa repeats that he is not Trowa but Duo says, "so this is the end..?" Trowa explains that he got the name from someone else. His scientist and another man is arguing with the real Trowa Barton about operation meteor. Trowa says that it is not a plan to avenge the real Heero Yuy. The other man, not the scientist kills Trowa. Our Trowa AKA No-Name tells them that he would resist if they kill him, but since he has no name, he'll take the dead man's name and Heavy Arms, a Gundam he particularly likes. The scientist reluctantly agrees and gives him the name Trowa Barton. Trowa explains that he has no interest in the colonies and Operation Meteor. Back at the missiles coming at Duo, they miss him intentionally and blind Wufei with smoke. Heero is saved from turning to mincemeat. Duo flies out of his suit and goes into the colony. Quatre explains how he must intercept with the satellite outside of the ship he is in with his team. They heartily disagree and explain that they will give up their life for him. However, Quatre ends up going by himself because he insists that their lives are very important… Sandrock taught him that. Noin and Sally Po find out that the real ship sent from the Colony X-18999 actually somewhere else. However, they may be too late. Lady Une looks out into the sky at the quiet Earth people who do not realize the Danger they are in. Quatre remember how his scientist has explained to him the self-destruct button and what it is to be used for. Not only is it to be used to keep the Gundam as a secret, but also for another reason which the scientist does not explain. The orders come and the scientist tells Quatre that they are proceeding with Operation Meteor. The scientist thinks of how kind and pure Quatre is…and this operation may make him test himself even more. Relena explains to Mareimeia about the stupidity of trying to fight earth. Mariemeia explains how she will not tolerate rudeness from Relena. Heero and Duo talk about being worried about Dekim and Mariemeia. Quatre attempts the five second contact with the satellite. He must cling on to a rope and drag himself onto the satellite while his team leaves him. (see why they wanted to go themselves?) Smacking onto the side of hard surface, he is luckily still intact. He tells them good luck and continues into the satellite. He greets Sandrock Dekim is in a ship near the earth and says that he will drop the Serpents (a MS) onto earth. He explains that even if the Preventers go to where he is, they cannot catch up with him, he has fooled them. However, a Tallgeese approaches the ship -- it is Zechs Merquise/ Preventer Wind. Zechs tells Dekim to stop fighting. However, Dekim says not only are dropping Mobile Suits a way to take over earth, but so is dropping Colony X-18999. Wufei comes towards the earth, muttering about justice while Relena shakes Mariemeia, telling her that dropping the colony will kill many million of people. Mariemeia tells Relena coldly that she will become the leader of all the colonies and earth if Queen Relena who supports the colonies asks her to. Quatre flies back to Earth with the rest of the Gundams and tries to send a message to Heero and Duo. Trowa, on the computer, waits for Heero and Duo to get to him. He needs help breaking a code. They try to break through the computer to stop the dropping of the colony at all. Trowa explains that he only joined this group to get inside. Duo asks if Wufei is doing this also, but Heero explains that Wufei never does things simply.Zechs powers up to try to fry the ship with Dekim in it. Too late, Zechs explodes the extra rock Serpents after Dekim leaves safely. Quatre explains that he is here with the Gundams and they will get here soon. Heero explains that he needs a favor from Duo, he wants to get to the Wing Zero in space instead of somewhere else, it would be faster. Heero explains that he needs another favor, to please smack him. Duo happily agrees but Heero smack him back, one hit for another. Duo falls on the floor and Heero pretend to be hurt. Trowa explains how he has caught the two. Heero runs off and gets to his Gundam while. Noin sees Zechs sitting in his Tallgeese, flipping through a book. She explains to him that she'll be by his side forever. The narrator explains what has been happening. The Wing Zero is loaded out with Heero in coming towards it in his little shuttle. Last Impression plays… Trowa throws Duo into a cell. Relena and Mariemeia watch everyone assemble on earth. Heero sees Wing Zero approaching him. He enters it and a huge elaborate show of Zero unfolding happens…. Looking out the window, Relena thinks of Heero. Suddenly, the house she is in tucks itself underground. They are protecting themselves from an attack. Mariemeia explains the irony of having all this protection even though there is peace everywhere. She explains how close she is to establishing her rule. Wufei thinks about how his people wished to give away the Shenlong to Operation Meteor. Wufei wants to fight and flies to earth. He brings himself out of his memories to see Heero approaching. Heero tells Wufei to move away. Wufei blabs about how honor and justice is what he Is fighting for, and all the soldiers. People are all held together in a small room by Mariemeia's group. Someone in a red outfit like the group is spreading around sleeping gas. It is Sally Po. (this excerpt was not there in the OAVs) Duo breaks out of his jail cell. He tells Trowa that he should help him out. Trowa explains that he isn't waiting for him, but for someone else. Sally says that she is glad Duo saved her some cake (response to his earlier joke). However, Duo replies very arrogantly that if it was a joke, it was really pathetic…and if she was sarcastic, it was even more pathetic! They fly off. Heero and Wufei are still fighting. Heero is telling Wufei to give it up. Wufei will not and continues to explain his motives. Wufei says that he is still fighting Trieze but Heero says that he isn't. Heero finally explains how if peace is not achieved, then more people would be killed. Zechs and Noin, in mobile suits, are standing near Mariemeia's base. Zechs explains that if they do not stop her, another Zechs Peacecraft will be created. Noin explains that she will not leave Zechs but will wait for him definitely. Wufei explains that he doesn't like Relena Peacecraft's idea of peace and no war and battles. Heero explains that history will be repeated. Heero thinks of killing the girl and asks Wufei how many little girls and puppies must he kill…he explains that Zero never answered his question. Falling into the sea, Heero asks him if this is what he wants. Wufei realizes that history will repeat, that like his colony that exploded, many others will lose their loved ones. Quatre, Trowa, and Duo enter their Gundams and come down to Earth where Mariemeia is. A brief flash of Mariemeia talking about her great base appears. A little girl asks her grandfather why there is still fighting if there is supposed to be peace. He explains that things can never be peaceful like they should…etc Zechs, not wanting to kill any of those fighting to protect their base, is having a hard time stopping them. Quatre appears to help them on their venture. The rest of them come and explain how these guys who are here fighting are used to getting smacked around, and similar to how they were when they were first pilots. Dekim sees the Gundams fighting and Mariemeia comments on her powerful base. Relena runs to the intercom and sends a short message to earth on how they should not give up hope. Dekim stops her speech while she's just finishing her sentence. Relena says that her last name isn't Peacecraft, she isn't required to keep peace forever in this world, but to prevent others from such movements. Dorothy appears and speaks to the people about how the Gundams are not destroying the peace but are maintaining it. She tells them to look at the Gundams on the screen. (this excerpt was not there in the OAVs) Scenes of the Gundams fighting appear. The colonists watch them fighting for them and not killing the others. They realize that the Gundams aren't here to destroy them. They all support Relena and the peace. Rallied, they ride towards the action in trucks. (this excerpt was not there in the OAVs) All of the pilots are seen fighting the other Mobile suits. Heero, at the bottom of the ocean sits without moving. Wing Zero turns on and begins to move. Surprised, he wakes up and lifts himself from the ocean. Propelling himself up, he gets out of the ocean and towards the action. Zechs tells them to retreat. It is pointless to keep trying. They are slowing running out of ammo. Unsure of what to do, they try other methods. Relena speaks to Dekim about trying to maintain peace but the Gundams, as Mariemeia, have stopped fighting. (this excerpt was not there in the OAVs) Suddenly, Heero appears with a nice large gun in his Wing Zero's hands. Heero appears on the screen telling them that he will shoot them. Heero replies that if they don't surrender, they will shoot. Dekim says that they should release the Serpents to destroy him. Shooting once again, Mariemeia explains that Heero must be insane. Dekim tries to explain that Relena is in the base with them. Heero shoots again, and his Wing Zero basically crumbles. Pushing them to safety, Lady Une saves them. She explains that she must save Trieze's daughter no matter what. The colonists shout at the people in the MS that they want peace. Surprised, the MS stop fighting immediately. The fighting is over. Lady Une explains that the people love peace and no longer fear the Gundams. Heero hopes out of his tattered Gundam into the broken down base. Dekim calls Mariemeia to him and she says that she will be the victor. Stopping her with a slap at the same time Lady Une tries to slap her, Relena tells her to stop following his order. Unafraid of death, Relena tells Dekim to go ahead and shoot. Dekim shoots Mariemeia who gets in front of Relena. Telling them that Mariemeia can be replaced, he tries to shoot Relena only to be shot himself by one in red uniform. Heero tries to shoot Mariemeia but no bullet comes out. He explains that he has killed Mariemeia (maybe the symbol she stands for?) and will kill no more. He drops the gun and falls to the ground right after Relena catches him. "Heero…" she says. Everyone drops their guns into a pile and the Mobile suits and Serpents they used are burned up. Wufei watches with the colonists. (this excerpt was not there in the OAVs) Duo, Trowa and Quatre destruct the Gundams. Trowa says that he isn't Trowa anymore, but they disagree since a name is just something that everyone calls you. Trowa reluctantly agrees. Wufei joins the Preventers with Sally Po who asks him since Zechs and Noin have flown off. Noin and Zechs are in a shuttle and he asks her if she really wants to follow. She asks him not to make her repeat herself. The narrator explains that no more Gundams and MS were ever seen again. The ending scenes include: Mariemeia with Lady Une watching the graveyard. Duo and Hirde are eating lunch. (this excerpt was not there in the OAVs; she was handing him a file in the OAVs) Quatre and his team working together (Rasid specifically). Trowa and Catherine Bloom are in the circus. Watching an explosion, Wufei and Sally Po are in a jeep. Zechs and Noin playing chess up in space. Relena attending a speech looking at the sky at the same time Heero, walking in a street, is. (this excerpt was not there in the OAVs. Not quite as cute as him staring at her making her speech and then disappearing, like in the OAVs… oh well.) Last Impression by Two-Mix plays and the credits roll.....
