# These verses have two translations to them because there is a pun
involved with chou-DAIYA. Since I'm not a native Japanese speaker,
I'm not sure of the exact nature of the pun. I believe that
chou-DAIYA is a combination of the prefix chou- which means
super, ultra, or hyper plus DAIYA which means diamonds. Choudai
is also a word meaning give me, and as I understand, it is an
informal word. The ya is an emphatic ending. My friend and I have
argued about this, and I've always believed the latter was correct,
but he disagrees with me that the former is a possibility. Anyways, if
any native Japanese speakers out there can explain to me the pun, I
would greatly appreciate it and make the appropriate changes to my
translation. Please feel free to correct my translation as well
because I had difficulty with finding a couple of words in the
dictionary and so bypassed their translations. Thanks! ^_^
