The Story of Ail & Ann

Ail and Ann were aliens who came to Earth in search of energy for the Makaiju ("The Doom Tree"), they used monsters called Cardians to drain the energy of living beings. Ann picked the Cardian and Ail called it out by playing his flute. But what Ann and Ail learned later was that the energy they were giving the tree was negative, and was killing it. In a battle with the Sailor Senshi the tree told it's story.Long ago there was only the tree and the ocean, at this time the tree was called "The Tree of Life". But the tree was very lonely, so it created Ann and Ail's race of creatures. The tree needed loving energy to live, and it recieved plenty of that in the begining. But then some of the aliens met Queen Beryl, who made them greedy for power which made them evil. So the tree picked up the few remaining good beings and went off in search of a place to find loving energy. But all of the creatures died off exept for two babies, Ail and Ann.
