Don't really know what to write, I am 43 years old, have CP (mild, mostly left side) 10 years ago I was able to do things easier than now. I have terrible balance and fall a lot, I used to be able to pick myself up, smile and keep right on going, now I n ed help getting up if I fall, this is real frustrating and embarrassing, it is harder for me to do things than it used to be. I used to ride a bike, (2 wheeler) now I've given that up, mostly "cause I can't get on one any more, I now have a 3 wheeler (ch ck out the Rebike com line.) I've gained a little weight (not a lot) because I'm not as active as I used to be. Other than that I do pretty good. I haven't seen a doctor for my condition in more than 15 years. Would like to hear from others like me. Th nks!!

I'm 36 years old and have a relatively mild CP affliction (left extremeties). As I age I have noticed the affects of CP have grown. Most of my life, I have have been very active physically with sports. But as I have become less active, I have noticed the increase in the affects of CP. Mostly, arthritis has started in on my joints. (knees and ankles). Like you, I have become interested in the effects of aging and CP. Thank you for putting together this web site. I will monitor for updates.

Hello, Ithink your CP Web line is great. I commend you for the work you have put into it. I took in a CP Child who is spastic quadriplegia, Microcephalic and multiple health problems here mentality it 3-6 month and her physical ability is 0-3 months. So am interested in anything I can learn on any related subject.I have had her 2 1/2 years and she is the sunshine in all of our lives. We are so lucky to have her in our lives. Enjoyed the reading and keep up the good work.

A very sweet person whome I met on AOL took the time to care about me and talk to me when I was at my wits end. I was a total stranger to her but that didn't matter. She loves people. She is a nurse and has a cyrable palsi child in her home who she takes are of and this child has brought her much love. And Therisa the one who cared enough about me to have me go to the doctors means the world to me. I want to learn all I can about CP and someday I hope that I can meet her. Now on-line she is my adopted mot er. I love her with all my heart and I envy someone who is as caring as she is. She is a beautiful person...... : )
