C'den and Charissa's Weyr(#514RAJLe)
A large cot situated near the center of the weyr has replaced the small broken one that had once been there, with pillows of all shapes, sizes and colors strewn about it. At the foot of the cot is a large woven basket where two sleeping felines can often be found. A woven tapestry of a green and brown dragon the length of the entire wall hangs above the cot, probably the only thing in the weyr that isn't too horribly gaudy or tacky. Several holes in the walls provide perfect perches for firelizards.

Charissa is curled on the couch, playing a game of peek-a-boo with her kitten and lizards. Silly girl, she is, but well, they're not helping by playing along, hiding and looking up at just the right moment.
C'den strides in, whistling all the way. "Gooooood evening." He exclaims cheerfully as he walks over to the couch, leaning down to offer Charissa a bright blue flower. Awwwww.
Awww, indeed, as Charissa is spied by lizards and kitten. Lost. Ah well... she got a flower out of it, as she takes it, leaning up to kiss C'den's cheek before he moves away. "Thank you," she beams, twirling the flower within her fingers.
C'den beams as he flops down beside her, probably earning himself a few indignant chirps and hisses. "What a loovely evening.." He gushes, leaning back and turning to smile at Charissa. "How are you?"
Charissa smiles, as she leans close, not minding the stares; lizards and kitten are looking like 'What? That's the end of our game? Feh.' "Fine. Just got done checking Ory for patchy spots. You?"
"I'm well." C'den replies, his voice more bright and cheery than usual.. A seemingly impossible thing.
Charissa should be scared. But she's not. Instead, she curls closer. Yep. Caught. "That's good. How's Lex?" Ory hasn't given her a report yet.
C'den grins broadly. "Well. We just got back from No, see.. She likes swimming there. Warmer." He explains, that goofy grin still slapped on his face.
Ilexth> Ilexth gives a bright warble of interest. << Report? Of what? >>
Ilexth> Oryzath rumbles, lazily, << Oh you. How you are, what you are doing. >> Nosy.
Charissa ahs, before mentioning, "We'll have to go together the next time." Nose wrinkles, as Oryzath croons from outside. "He agrees. More water to float in."
Ilexth> Nosy? Certainly not! Ilexth is just curious. << Fiiiiine. >> She croons sweetly to the brown as she inches toward him. << Nothing, at all. What about you? >>
Ilexth> Just rumble. Wing is held up... come closer... for Ilexth, as Oryzath answers, << Fine... now. I want to go swimming too. >>
Ilexth> Ilexth slides under that wing and croooons again, her bright soprano voice echoing over the mountains. << Swim! Let's swim? They won't mind. >>
"Of course.." C'den nods. "I would have come looking for you two, but Ilexth was quite... insistant." On swimming. Right at that moment.
Ilexth> Oryzath doesn't even think on that. She mentioned swimming, therefore, they must go. << I am right behind you. >> So much for asking.
Charissa smiles, as she gives a quick nod. "I know. That's like Oryzath wanting to swim, and not letting me take off his straps first." Which he does often, as waterlogged straps will show.
Ilexth> Ilexth warbles cheerily, whirling eyes shining bright blue. << Where shall we swim? The water at No is loooovely. >>
Ilexth> Oryzath thinks on that, before nodding. <
C'den chuckles, giving a nod. "I'm lucky that Ilexth hasn't made a habit out of that.."
Ilexth> << Are you sure? >> Ilexth snuggles in closer. << I don't want you getting lost *between* >>
Charissa ohs, before chuckling, "She'd just drag Oryzath with her. He was born with waterwings." Not flying, water. Sigh.
Ilexth> Oryzath lets his head bobble, before lids close once, before he rumbles an affirmative. << I can see it. Nice beach. Better water. Ready? >>
Ilexth> Ilexth bobs her head in a nod. << After you.. >>
Ilexth> Oryzath spreads his wings and leaps off of the ledge.
Ilexth> Oryzath has left.

Ilexth> You splash into the water.
Charissa ums very softly, as her eyes go vacant. "Cal... dear? Please tell me that Ory and Lex are out on the ledge, asleep."
C'den blinks. "What? You mean they're not?" He gets up suddenly, running over to the ledge and blinkblinking some more. Stranded, gasp!
Double gasp. "Oh jays... I thought he was dreaming about swimming in No.... not actually there." Eyes roll, as Charissa rises, coming to stand behind C'den.
C'den smirks. "Something tells me it's /not/ his fault.." Ilexth, cause trouble? Never!
Charissa chuckles, after a moment. "They've completely left us up here until they're ready to return. "You know that, right?" Sigh.
"If we're lucky they'll be back within a sevenday.." C'den sighs, crossing his arms as he leans against the doorway.
Charissa eeps to that, as she wonders, "A sevenday? How are we going to eat if they're gone a sevenday?" She can see it now... two skeletons in the weyr.
C'den blinks at Charissa. "I was only kidding, but.." He remembers being in the water with Ilexth for a day and a half during weyrlinghood.
Charissa almost squeaks. Almost. But it's darn close, just classified a squeal. "Cal.... we've got to get them back here?" Starving to death is /not/ fun.
C'den walks over to the edge of the ledge and looks down. "Our chances of surviving the jump down are better than the chance that Ilexth and Oryzath will come back soon.." He muses, grinning slightly. Let's hope his humor is not lost on Charissa...
It almost isn't. Though Charissa looks down to the ground, before squeaking. Genuine squeak. Hysterical is next. "Well... maybe they'll come back a bit sooner. Oryzath should get hungry soon." Hopefully he'll think hunting wild will be too much work.
Ilexth> Ilexth gives a soft creel. << Oryzath, are you hungry? Let's go get some herdbeast from the feeding grounds.. >>
Ilexth> Oryzath floats, though his stomach, the workable oen, adds on to Ilexth's creel. << Yes... that is something I should have done before we left. >> But we all know, he would've been sleepy afterwards.
C'den smiles warily. "It's alright, Char.. Ilexth's hungry." Suddenly his face falls. If Ilexth's hungry that means /he's/ hungry. He glances at Muffins and somewhere in the back of his mind he wonders what felines taste like.
Just like chicken. As long as Cal doesn't touch Chari's feline, she's fine. No, wait... they're suppose to be taking care of Muffins, not plotting to roast him. "Well, that means she'll be home... and so will Ory. He won't stay there without her."
Ilexth> Ilexth creels more insistantly. << Oryzath.. >> she whines, << let's go now. >> To feed of course, not go home. She's not done swimming.
C'den pales as his own hunger increases.. He looks over the ledge again and smiles slightly. Pleanty of footholds..
Ilexth> Oryzath shakes his wings. <
Charissa murmurs, "Cal... what are you thinking?" He's beginning to scare her, personally.
C'den leeeeans over the ledge, then ever so slowly and carefully lowers one leg....
"Cal! Come back here!" Chari tugs on one of C'den's arm, trying to pull him back. "Are you crazy?"
C'den jumps at Charissa's sudden outburst, and falls over the ledge. Boy is he lucky she had a hold of one of his arms..
Charissa tugs C'den back, before looking at him. Okay, maybe she's not the sanest person to talk to him right now. "You were going to try to crawl off and leave me here, weren't you?" So instead of two skeletons, only one....
C'den blinks, frowning slightly at Charissa. "Leave you? What are you talking about.. I was trying to get down so I could get someone to rescue you!" Actually he was trying to leave so he could get some food, but he would have eventually remembered poor Charissa and would have come to save her before she became a skeleton..
Charissa uh huhs. He would've stuffed himself silly, slept out in the 'Cavern, and she would've been up here /all/ alone, to fend for herself. Evil, evil, Cal. "Well... you can't go. Unless you're taking me with you." There.
C'den errs. No, no.. He would've come right back, honest! "What do you mean take you with me? What if you fell? I'd never forgive myself..." Pout.
Charissa is little. She can hang on. She has to deal with Ory, remember. "So... you'd leave me up here?" Uh oh... lower lip juts out, eyes widening just a touch.
Oooohhh no. No, no, /evil/ woman, don't pout! "But I wouldn't want you to fall.. That's why. I was only leaving to get help," and food "honest!"
...says C'den.
Uh oh. A sniffle just got added. "Fine." Even a little foot stomp, as Charissa turns, before heading back into the weyr. Leaving her alone to rot.
C'den eeps and scrambles after her, forgetting how close he is to the end of the ledge and slips, clinging to the edge with white-knuckled fingers. "Chaaaaari..."
From in the weyr, Charissa calls, between hiccups, "Fine! Go! See if I care!" Meanie. Another hiccup, as she quiets, suddenly.
"Cha-" C'den is cut off as one hand slips from the ledge.. "Charissa!"
Charissa stumbles out, wiping at her eyes. "Cal? What /do/ you... hey... where are you?" She looks around, not seeing that hand yet... only an empty ledge.
"Chari.." C'den's groan is barely audible as he falls a few more centimeters closer to the ground. He's only holding on by two fingers now... Faranth help him.
Charissa squeaks, finally hearing just where Cal is, before scooting over to the ledge. "Cal? What are you doing?" She grabs a hold of his wrist, trying to haul him back on the ledge. Ooof. He doesn't feel like he's been starving.
C'den clutches at Charissa's hand, trying to heft himself up. He manages to get high enough to rest his elbows on the ledge. Phew.
Charissa frowns, as she looks down to Cal. "I thought you were going." Here, after all of this? Geee.
"No.. I fell." C'den pouts, finally lifting himself onto the ledge and heaving a sigh of relief. "I couldn't leave knowing it upset you.."
Charissa looks over, uncrossing her arms just a little -- she had taken a good little girl pouting stance: arms crossed, lip out, and leg stuck askew. "You... weren't going to leave me?"
C'den shakes his head, smiling softly. "As much as I'd like to go get something to eat... No." He says, winking.
Charissa nods, as she crawls, slowly, ending up next to C'den. "I... I just didn't want to be up here, all by myself."
C'den grins, "You won't be.. But.. We've got to get down somehow. And I have a feeling Lex and Oryzath won't be back for awhile.." He sighs, looking down the cliff's face.
Charissa sighs to that, as she looks down the side of the cliff face, before grumbling. "And I'm hungry, too. This isn't fair." She wants wings..., where's that brown??
C'den hmms thoughtfully, still looking at the ground below. "Maybe I could.. We could climb down.. It's not /that/ far.. Three dragonlengths maybe. Or we could use the sleeping furs or.." He seems to have run out of ideas.
Charissa almost wails, then an idea comes to her. "Hey! We could send the lizards down for help." Wait a minute... hers aren't all that useful."
C'den nods, then looks around the weyr frantically. Eep... Aoi is no where to be found..
Charissa has disconnected.
