Haruka is a man. She's a manly man. Or at least she would be if she wasn't a woman. Haruka does put forth a tough exterior but I think maybe she had a rough childhood so she puts up walls to try and keep people from seeing the frightened little girl within. The senshi we see her get closest to is Michiru and Michiru could probably heal all wrong in her gentle ways. She also gets really close to Usagi and Hotaru but not as much as to Michiru.

I like Haruka. She's cool and she pays no attention to the traditional roles about men and woman. Girls can't race they say. Haruka says, screw that and becomes one of the best race car drivers around. They say all senshi must be loyal to the princess. At the end of S she and Michiru beat the princess up. *MUAH HAHAHA!!* They say, girls can't date girls. (ok, they don't say that as much anymore but there are still a lot of people who do.) Haruka loves Michiru. Michiru loves Haruka. They are by far the BEST couple in the entire show. Stop throwing those rotten tomatoes you Usagi & Mamoru people, you saw what happened to Amanda on my first page.
Haruka is a great pianist. When you have her playing the piano and Michiru playing the violin together you have really gorgeous music. Its funny that such an untraditional girl as Haruka plays such a traditional instrument as the piano so wonderfully but I really would pity anyone that tries to place Haruka in any stereotype because she'll just turn around and do something completely unexpected. Of course she is an outer senshi which makes her wonderful. (Yeah, I know, stereotype but you can't possibly get me to believe its not true.)

Haruka and Michiru want some privacy so go home please or, if you wish, to the corridor of characters.
