I just looked at this page today and realised how out of date it is. When I first made my Mamoru page I was at the point where I still liked him as a character, just not as Usagi's boyfriend/fiancee/whatever. This was also before I liked SuperS, but that's beside the point. The point is, now I can't stand him.p>
I don't know when this happened. It was a gradual change as I rewatched the show. I was never one of the people who disliked him because he picked on Usagi first season like some people did, I liked him then. And there are some scenes where I don't dislike him as much, and a few where I actually do think he and Usagi make a nice couple, but those are few and far between.
His personality is for the most part very very bland once he's rediscovered his past. Plus he has some huge lapses in judgement which just make me want to slap him. He's not really a bad person, but he's not the sort that I can relate to, or like. I'm not saying he doesn't have his moments, but they just don't make up for the rest of the time. Sorry to any big fans of his that come in here.
