Adopted
from Louis Cha's novel of the same Chinese title. Story of a man (Lai)
caught between two women (Cheung and Lee). Cheung Man looks awfully cute
bald I should say. :-)
TSC
- The young and debonair Hu is a skilled swordsman without a care in
the world. Feng is a master of swords who uses his skill for power money
and lust. They are destined to cross swords when Hu becomes romantically
involved with Feng's illegitimate daughter.
HO
-
Features the scorpion-eating, underground-burrowing dwarf, and Michelle
as a witch.
SS
- (**1/2) Leon Lai is torn between a cute, nagging apothecary (Michelle
Lee) and a stunning girl monk (Cheung Man): one constantly poisons him
while the other rejects his advances, sort of. Nice touches include a talking
kung fu horse, a poison that makes you taller and taller until your bones
break apart and explode, and a golf game with a human head. The ending
leaves it open for Sword of Many Loves 2. |
