One
Hand...a page of Love

I thank all who have
loved me in their hearts,
With thanks and love from mine. Deep thanks to all
Who paused a little near the prison-wall
To hear my music in its louder parts
Ere they went onward, each one to the mart's
Or temple's occupation, beyond call.
But thou, who, in my voice's sink and fall
When the sob took it, thy divinest Art's
Own instrument didst drop down at thy foot
To hearken what I said between my tears, . . .
Instruct me how to thank thee ! Oh, to shoot
My soul's full meaning into future years,
That they should lend it utterance, and salute
Love that endures, from Life that disappears !
Elizabeth
Barrett Browning

"The
truth is that there is only one terminal dignity - love.
And the story of a love is not important -
what is important is that one is capable of love.
It is perhaps the only glimpse we are permitted of eternity."
Helen Hayes

"You
will find, as you look back upon your life,
that the moments when you have really lived
are the moments when you have done things in the spirit of love."
Henry Drummond

reduction of the universe to a single being,
the expansion of a single being even to God, this is love."

is nothing. To be loved is something.
To love and to be loved is everything."

is, above all, the gift of oneself."

a promise, love is a souvenir,
once given never forgotten, never let it disappear."

there is love there is life"
