"The Love Pill: 24 Hours of Happiness"
 
Pt.3:"The Chase is On"
 
              "Shampoo!"
                "Ranma!", exclaimed Ukyo, Kodachi, and Shampoo.
                "Just what the heck are you doing? I never said I'd marry you!"
                "Ha! I knew you were lying. Ranma-honey would never have agreed to marry you. I'm the only one he loves."
                "Yeah!", exclaimed Ranma, "except for the last part. Shampoo I want you to put an end to this. I'm not marrying you or any one at the moment. So, quit sending invitations and telling people." And with that he left the Cat Cafe.
                 After everyone had left, Shampoo went to her room.
                "Shampoo, why make out invitations if you knew son-in-law hadn't agreed to the wedding yet?"
                "But all Shampoo need to do to make Ranma fall in love with her is give him pill."
                "You mean that pill from the bracelet, you still have it?"
                "Did, but lost necklace where Shampoo be keeping it."
                "Well then let's go look for it."
                "Shampoo!", Mousse exclaimed as he entered the restaurant.
                "Oh! What now Mousse!", yelled Shampoo.
                "Shampoo, I love you!"
                "Shampoo very busy. No have time for this."
                "You'll change your mind in a minute, darling. Just as soon as I find...", Mousse searched for the necklace but was unable to find it.
                "Mousse what you looking for?"
                "The neck...", Mousse stopped himself before realizing that he was about to tell Shampoo he had found the necklace, it was too late.
                "Mousse!", Shampoo grabbed him by the collar, "You know where necklace is?"
                "Well, I did but I've seemed to misplace it."
                "Stupid! Where you leave it!", Shampoo yelled as she violently shook Mousse.
                "Shampoo it's not as bad as it seems. I must have lost it on my way over here."
                "Then we go find it!"
                 Shampoo dragged Mousse by the arm.
                "Oh Shampoo! To be held by your hand so lovingly. You really do love me..."
                "Shut up!"
 

                Kasumi reached the gates of the Tendo Dojo. She had just returned from a visit to Dr.Tofu's. She always enjoyed visiting him. Infact, she usually found an excuse to go visit him. But something troubled her. Dr.Tofu would always be in an absent state of mind. Could it be that Dr.Tofu was in love? It saddened her to know that one day Dr.Tofu would be someone's husband....
                "Kasumi?"
                "Yes, father?"
                "Is something the matter?"
                "No... no father, why do you ask?"
                "You've been filling that pot with water for seven minutes."
                "Oh my, sorry. Dinner will be ready in an hour."
 
 

               "It was never going to happen!"
               "Oh yeah, that's why she had the invitations made out!"
               "Hey! She did that on her own."
               "You know what I don't even care, come on P-chan."
               "You are so uncut..."
               
                     WHACK!

               Akane thudded up the stairs with P-chan in her arms.
              "That idiot.", she thought. But she realized that she wasn't mad at Ranma, she was scared.
              "Shampoo had the pill.", she told P-chan. "That's why she was so confident about the wedding. Mousse has probably gotten Shampoo to swallow the pill and they are on their way to the alter. So, I guess the trouble's over", she said as she scratched P-chan behind the ears.
 

               Dr. Tofu sipped his tea as he flipped through his medicine books. It was still early in the evening but he was very tired. It had been an eventful day, as usual, when Kasumi visited. He loved her so much. But the words to tell her never came out. No matter how determined he was to tell her, he would never go through with it. It would break his heart to know that she didn't feel the same way for him. So, instead of getting crushed he'd just keep it quiet. Dr. Tofu picked up the blue pill Kasumi had given him. She had found it a few blocks away from his office in a necklace. He told her he'd investigate what it was for but there was nothing in his medicine books about the pill.
            Oh well, he thought, that's enough research for tonight. He placed the pill back into the necklace.

 
             Shampoo and Mousse scoured the streets of Nerima, but the necklace was nowhere in sight.
             Ukyo came outside to bring in her shop curtain. She saw Mousse and Shampoo eagerly looking for something.
             "What are you two looking for?", Ukyo called out.
             "Ukyo have you seen a necklace around here?", asked Mousse.
             "No, why?"
             "No reason, we go now Mousse.", Shampoo said.
 
 

             "But daddy it's a solid investment."
             "Nabiki, we don't have money for that. Now would you please go to Ukyo's Okonomiyaki shop and pick up some orders?"
             "Ugh! Fine."
 
            How am I going to get some money?, Nabiki thought. Perhaps Kuno's in the market for some pictures of his pig-tailed goddess? But he'll only fork over at the most forty yen. Well, I guess I could collect from Ranma. Nabiki entered Ukyo's restaurant but there was no one there. She walked towards the back and heard some one whispering.

              "A pill?"
              "Yeah, apparently that's what Shampoo was going to use to get Ranma to marry her."
              "Well, what does this pill do?"
              "It's a love pill, it lasts a day. You see if some one swallows the pill, they fall in love with the first person they see of the opposite sex. But, apparently Mousse found the pill and used it on Shampoo."
              "No, they didn't seem all that in love, I think he lost it. I saw them last night looking for something. Mousse asked me if I had seen a necklace."
              "Do you know what this means, Ukyo, if the pill is still out there we can use it."
              "I can get Ranma-honey to fall in love with me!"
              "And if you get Ranma out of the way, Akane won't have a fiancee anymore."
              "Well, Ryoga, what do you say, let's work together to find that pill."
              Nabiki heard them coming out from the back.
              "Nabiki?", Ukyo said.
              "I'm here to pick up five orders of okonomiyaki."
              "Right, here you go."
              "Thanks."
 
              Nabiki walked out of the restaurant with a devilish grin on her face. Looks like Kuno-baby will have to do with the pictures he already has, she thought.
