Hiei awoke to the warmth of his lovers embrace. He smiled. Laying there in bed with Kurama he somehow felt more peaceful then he had ever felt in his 200 year life In his mind he went over the occurances of the last 24 hours....

The day had started much the same, he woke-up on a tree limb in the park and went out and stole something to eat. That was when he noticed the power in the air. He doged to the right and barly avoided being hit by a fireball the size of a beatch ball. Pain forced him to double over as a shriek went through the air, then everything went black.

"Where is Hiei?", Kurama asked at the after school meeting. Kuwabara started to say something insulting about Hiei when Botan came sailing in the window yelling, "Hiei's been kiddnaped!"

"What?!", the others yelled, "How could anyone even catch Hiei?", came from Yusuke.

"It was a banshee majo (witch)", stated Botan, "my guess is that she used her voice."

"What do you think we should do guys?", asked Kurama worry obvious in his voice.

"It gets worse, she has kidnaped other fire youki and one by one after dusk thier bodies were found drained of power and dead.", for once Botan was not chipper when she spoke, "We must hurry."
