I went to the football match in Regent's Park ... and couldn't find it !!! None of the students there. I found out that all the games had been cancelled because of too much rain. Oh well. Really wouldn't have made sense, the ground WAS very deep ! Went back to the hostel, changed clothes and headed out to the city again. At Russel Square station I met an old American couple (obviously American). There were looking for the British Museum and heading due North. "But on my map it says it's South of the station, so it's this direction" he said. I meant "No, this is North." And his wife: "I told you North is on the top of the map !" ... :o) ... "But my compass says THIS is north ... crappy American compass !!!" ... :o) ... lost some 60 p, oh well ... 2 weeks to go ... lights out.
