Not only can Koichi Sato convince me about the artistic qualities of Japanese life,
but I am also surprised about how much I learned about Japan and Japanese people through this book.

Through detailled discussions about the Hinomaru (the Japanese flag) and several other nice posters, I realize the importance of the 2-dimensional flat objects in Japanese life.

That's why I take almost complete passages out of this book...
