I used for the romanization of the Japanese writing the most common transcription method, so that:

• "ô" and "û" are the literal transcription of the long Japanese syllables: the long "o" and the long "u" - this is the major change compared to the previous version of my transcriptions. What annoyed me at the time was that the proper transcription should have used a sign like ¯ on the long vowels, but as it was not possible, I used the literal transcription, that is, "ou" and "uu". I hope you think the transcriptions are clearer now.

• "u" is to be pronounced like "oo" in English, but often briefer
• "oo" is to be pronounced like two distinct "o"
• both "r" and "l" are to be pronounced nearly like an English "l"
• some words in the songs are actually words in a foreign language (usually English) but adapted to Japanese pronunciation. I used this adapted form in the transcriptions - that is what the singer says, after all - and I wrote the matching foreign word under brackets:
  eg. " kurosu {cloth} "

Here comes the difficult point! Most of those songs were really difficult to translate, I can tell you! (no subject and/or no verb in the sentences,...). I had sometimes to try and figure out what the author meant... so that my translations are by no means perfect, they are often too literal; and last but not least, English is not my mothertongue... But I did my best for now, and I keep hope to ameliorate them eventually!

I suppose that I have to be more precise about this than I used to be: all transcriptions and translations on this site are my work, and MY work only!! It took me a lot of time to make all this, and I would really like you to ask me before putting any of my transcriptions on your site. As for the translations, they are put online for your personal use only, I do not allow any re-use in another homepage. Thanks for respecting this!
