| 18/06/99| Bringing with her a new look and two new singles! The first, Toi et moi, will be released on July 7th. It was written by Komuro Tetsuya for the new Pokemon movie. The other will be released on July 28th, though the name of the song is still unknown. What is known is that it will be produced by Dallas Austin. (TLC, Monica, Boys II Men, Michael Jackson, and Madonna.) |

| 18/03/99| Taira Emiko, 48, was brutally murdered by her husband's brother, Taira Kenji, 44, 10:45 am, Wednesday, while walking with her husband down a quiet street in Okinawa, across the street from Chero's Bar. She was hit twice by his car; once headlong, and the other from behind. She was then hit repeatedly by a large pipe. Her assailant was found approximately 1:45 pm, the same day, dead, having commit suicide by ingesting insecticide. Taira Emiko was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead at 11:48 am. Autopsy showed she had died from a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage when her head hit the pavement. Namie and Sam were rushed back to Okinawa, but unfortunately, it was too late. Police are still trying to find a motive behind the murder. |

| 10/07/98| On July 10, Namie Amuro's grandmother
Unrasaki Kiyoko (74) passed away. Since Namie's parents divorce, she had been one of the most important person in Namie's life. Though she rushed back to Okinawa to say goodbye, Namie could only stay 2 days due to the fact her father-in-law, Masayoshi Maruyama's funeral service was going to be held on July 13th in Iwatsuki city. 16/06/98| Masayoshi Maruyama (69) passed away due to heart failure. Masayoshi was a very well-known doctor in Iwatsuki's Maruyama Memorial General Hospital. He was also Namie's physician during the delivery of her baby. |

| 19/05/98| The baby is born! Namie delivered a baby boy, Haruto, at Maruyama Sougou Kinen Hospital, 1:08 AM. He weights 2690g. Mother and baby are doing fine. |
