In Nekohanten, Moose was looking for Shampoo. Shampoo came and hit him.
Then Moose said that there was a delivery. But Shampoo said she was
busy reading a book. Moose told Shampoo that the customer wanted Shampoo
to make the delivery. So Shampoo made a delivery to an old temple.
But there was nobody there. Just a lot of cats. Then the bakeneko
appeared.
On the way back from school, Ranma and Akane ran into Moose. Moose
hugged Akane thinking that it was Shampoo. After Akane and Ranma pounded
Moose, he told them that Shampoo hadn't come back from her delivery in
the morning. Then Ranma said that he should go to the place where she
made the delivery.
They all went to the temple. Ranma went inside. Then Shampoo ran to
Ranma. Akane got upset and started to go back. Ranma tried to go out,
but he couldn't. Akane thought Ranma was joking. Then Shampoo said
that as long as she was holding on to him, he couldn't leave. Shampoo
said that she would not let go of Ranma. Then the bakeneko appeared and
said that he had put a spell on Shampoo. So Shampoo couldn't leave.
He also said that he would make Shampoo his wife.
Shampoo told everyone that there was only one way to break the spell.
In the morning when Shampoo went into the temple to make her delivery,
the bakeneko put a spell on Shampoo. Shampoo tried to beat up the
bakeneko. The bakeneko said that he was the only one who could break
the spell. Then Shampoo stopped fighting. Shampoo said, "I would rather
die," and put a knife to her throat. When the bakeneko told her not to
do it, Shampoo said that she wanted the bakeneko put a spell on her so
that if her prince kissed her the spell would be broken.
Shampoo asked Ranma to kiss him. Then Moose ran to Shampoo, saying he
would break the spell. But Shampoo kicked him away. Then the bakeneko
licked Ranma, and Ranma freaked out.
Akane and Ranma returned home and left Shampoo at the temple. Ranma was
still badly shaken. Nabiki said that they shouldn't have left Shampoo,
but Akane said that they can go again the next day. That night the
bakeneko appeared at the Tendo home. Akane got mad and asked if the kiss
was the only way to release Shampoo. The bakeneko said that if Shampoo
couldn't break the spell before the temple bell rang 108 times that
night, she would turn into a cat and could never escape from the temple
or her human form. So the bakeneko asked them not to come to the temple.
Then the bakeneko put some powder on Ranma and left.
At the temple the bakeneko was getting ready for his wedding ceremony.
Shampoo beat up the bakeneko. Then Ranma appeared. When Ranma went into
the temple, he yelled, "Considering the circumstances, I'll kiss you!"
But a bunch of cats started to run toward Ranma. Ranma got scared and
ran away. The powder that the bakeneko put on Ranma was catnip powder.
Ranma's plan 1: While Akane was wearing the catnip suit, Ranma can
sneak in and kiss Shampoo. Akane got mad at this plan and kicked Ranma
inside with the catnip suit. The cats all ran after Ranma.
Ranma's plan 2: Ranma put some fish powder on a soccer ball. Ranma
kicked the ball into the bushes. All of the cats went after the ball.
Ranma was going to walk into the temple. But Moose appeared, and put
the soccer ball into Ranma's mouth. The cats came again.
Ranma had no more plans. Then Akane told Ranma to just take his clothes
off and go in.
With new clothes on, Ranma kicked the door down and went in. Moose also
went in. Moose beat up the bakeneko and went to kiss Shampoo, who was
in a cage. Shampoo kicked Moose, saying that he wasn't her prince.
Then Akane then lured the bakeneko. Ranma went to Shampoo and tried to
kiss Shampoo. But Moose stopped him and challenged him. Ranma and Moose
started fighting. Ranma finally beat up Moose. Ranma went to Shampoo
again. When they were about to kiss, Ranma asked Shampoo to close her
eyes. Then Shampoo closed her eyes and Ranma's heart started pounding
heavily. Akane couldn't stand watching any more and pounded Ranma
before he could kiss Shampoo. Then Moose came and started choking Ranma.
Akane kicked the bakeneko away. Then the bakeneko started to hit the
bell again. Ranma and Akane had already lost count. Then some cat's
ears started to grow on Shampoo. The cage that she was in flew to the
bell by the bakeneko's magic. The bakeneko started to hit the bell at
a faster rate.
Shampoo turned into a cat. Since there was no other alternative, Ranma
asked Moose and Akane to kick him in the back. They kicked him and Ranma
flew into the bell. Ranma collapsed next to the cage. The bakeneko had
hit the bell 107 times, and got ready to hit the bell for the final time.
Then Shampoo (cat) walked out of the cage and kissed Ranma who was still
laying on the ground, just before the bakeneko hit the bell.
The spell was broken and Shampoo wanted to kiss Ranma a second time. But
Moose and Akane got mad. Moose started choking Ranma, and Akane poured
cold water on Shampoo.
