Ranma 1/2 Nettouhen episode 29
"Henshin! Mukimuki-man Akane"
"Transform! Akane the Super-Duper Girl"

Synopsis by Mark Crispin, since Hitoshi Doi didn't see this one...

Akane is at an arm-wrestling booth. She keeps on winning. Then
she faces a new opponent who looks like a giant sumo wrestler. She
can not beat him. He beats her. It turns out to be Shampoo in
disguise. She gloats over Akane's defeat.

Happousai is preparing his special soba, but is distracted by a
TV program showing "idols" (teenaged girl rock singers) in bikinis.
Kasumi comes in with dinner for the clan -- soba -- in identical
bowls to Happousai's. Happousai turns around to find his soba bowl
gone. He first accuses Genma, then Ranma, of having eaten his soba.
It turns out to be Akane. She slaps Happousai and he goes flying.

The soba gives Happousai his power. Akane is delighted with her
new strength, and repeatedly beats Ranma at arm-wrestling.

Akane's father tells Ranma that this soba will cause Akane to get
male bodily characteristics. He gives Ranma the antidote berries.
Ranma tries to convince Akane to eat one, but she refuses and sends
Ranma flying.

Ranma lands where Shampoo is giving a table tennis demonstration.
Akane arrives and challenges Shampoo, the loser must give up on Ranma.
Shampoo sends all sorts of "interesting" ping-pong balls in Akane's
direction (when landing they explode and shoot out various things),
but Akane shoots them back at her. Happousai is watching, eating his
soba. Shampoo eats the soba too.

Akane and Shampoo are now fighting with giant ping-pong paddles
and all sorts of huge objects. Akane throws a giant temple bell on
Ranma and Shampoo. Ranma gives Shampoo the antidote. Shampoo is
delighted that she is alone with Ranma and wants to make out. Ranma
refuses, but discovers he can't lift the bell. She he makes sounds as
if he and Shampoo are making out. Akane is furious and cuts off the
top half of the bell. Ranma thanks Akane.

Now Akane and Ranma are fighting. Ranma gets Akane bound with
chains, but she breaks loose. She is about to beat Ranma up but
suddenly stops. Akane runs away crying.

Ranma chases after her. She is at the top of a tall tree hiding
her face. Ranma talks to her. Akane has grown whiskers. Ranma again
offers her the antidote and this time she eats it. Akane's whiskers
fall out and Akane is back to normal. She's very grateful to Ranma.

Later, at the Tendou doujou, Ranma is repeatedly arm-wrestling
Akane and gloating that he always wins.
