The internet is big and vast. Thousands and thousands of new home pages keep surfacing everyday while dozens of others are sent off-line. Because of the large selection to choose from, people have considered the Internet as the greatest medium to get new information about favorite topics in general. However, it has a downfall: because of vast number, surfing has become a complicated thing with dozens upon dozens of sites and / or missing pages. Due to this fact, a lot of people considered the Internet to be cold and absent of all warmth like that provided by the Bulletin Board Systems (BBSes).

This is the goal of Pinoy Otaku! and the Webring. We want to unite all web masters and page creators who share the same interests to band together. In effect, we want to foster the values of friendship, support and warmth, just like the ones we are all accustomed to.
Pinoy Otaku! has been trying to live this dream. Formed on May 4, 1997, Pinoy Otaku! is the brainchild of Justin Kho and Ulysses Ang who believed that Filipino anime / manga fans must have a collective voice on the Internet as well. Thus, on this guiding principle, this webring has expanded to accomodate more than 200 members plus several new key features which include a mailing list, a chat room, plus with cooperation from several other organizations, programs which increase the awareness of anime to the general population.
This website is dedicated to all of the kababayans out there, who like the creators of this webring have been keen to see the growth of the anime / manga industry. This webring is all for you. Mabuhay ang Filipino! Mabuhay kayong lahat!

Pinoy Otaku! Webring is a free service provided by Webringtm. It is dedicated to bring people closer though their interests, to bridge the gap among the users of the Internet.
