A father was sitting in his easy chair one evening while his three daughters were getting ready to go out on dates.
The doorbell rang and he found a young man standing on the porch. He said "Can I help you?" The young man replied very quickly,"Hi, I'm Eddie, I'm here for Betty, We're going out for spaghetti, Is she ready?
The father thought that quite an interesting reply and ushered the young man in to wait for his date.
The doorbell rang again and when the father opened it, he found another young man standing there.
He asked, "Can I help you?" The young man replied very quickly, "Hi, I'm Joe, I'm here for Flo, were going to a show, is she ready to go?"
Two in a row the father thought, what could be next? The bell rang a third time and again the father found a young man standing at the doorway.
